I implemented the relay app as our main automation tool this month and was super easy. I’ve been using Relay App, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most intuitive and powerful automation tools I’ve come across. Despite not being a programmer, I find it incredibly user-friendly while still offering the robustness needed for more advanced workflows. (I use it every day)
Relay stands out because of its AI-powered automation, which allows for the creation of sophisticated processes with minimal effort. It takes automation beyond simple task management, making orchestrating complex workflows without technical expertise easy. The drag-and-drop interface is smooth, and the platform’s flexibility ensures that I can customize my automations exactly the way I need.
If you’re looking for an easy yet powerful automation tool, Relay is a must-try. Whether you’re a beginner or a power user, it simplifies workflow automation like no other!
PD: Customer support is great!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited Native Integrations: While Relay is already powerful, it would be even better with a broader range of native integrations with popular tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Relay.app is the easiest platform I learned. Building workflows in Relay takes less time and it's loads fast also. I love using the Runs page to debug if I encounter errors. The learning curve is not too steep and good for beginners without coding background. As an automation consultant, Relay.app has helped me close multiple clients by allowing me to build and automate workflows. The most workflow I built is automating invoice generation. The feature to duplicate a workflow to a different workspace is not yet available. Adding this feature would be super beneficial for consultants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Relay.app's intuitive interface makes building workflows straightforward, even for automation novices. Its AI-driven features, combined with the Human-in-the-Loop functionality, allow for seamless automation with necessary human oversight. I like how it balances efficiency without sacrificing control. I believe the filteration and grouping features, specifically those in Gmail could be improved, because it is a chore to set manually the OR and AND conditions. They could take inspiration from how Notion does Filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am not a programming or code guy, just someone who turns knobs on boxes to make things work. As long as I don't have to look too far into the box, I am good! And for me, Relay's knobs are easy to turn.
I run a one-man business, so everything falls into my lap - execution of the orders for clients, billing, scheduling, sending files to offsite workers, etc. It's a lot of balls I can drop at any given moment, and Relay's been a big help keeping everything in the air.
When I have files to send off to offsite talent, Relay's automation notifies them that the work is ready. When I make an appointment with a client on Google calendar, I've got a Relay workflow that sucks all the data from that calendar event, creates a directory structore for the job, generates an invoice and drafts an email to the client with invoice attached.
It seems that whenever I find a hole in the way I do (or don't do!) the work I need to get done, I can create a Relay automation routine that fills that gap. I use these routines I've written every day.
integrating it with the Google products I use has been very easy - and if an integration isn't working quite the way it should, the staff at Relay jumps right on it to see if corrections can be made.
Support is absolutely amazing - I feel less like a customer and more like a partner invested in this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having not used a heck of a lot of other automation apps, it's tough to find a weak spot with Relay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was a snap to get started with Relay.app and get big wins quickly. The drag and drop interface is much easier than Zapier, and I loved the ability to test each step before publishing. The most common AI workflows come out of the box, letting me easily extract data from an email or summarize an article.
The customer support is incredible and highly personal. It's clear from the onboarding that this is a small and growing startup, but their product is just as polished as the big players.
I use this for my business, so I appreciate that there are unlimited users on the team plan. It was easy to share workflows with the team. The integrations that are available are clearly curated for business use--I was able to find integrations with most services we use in our work.
I have used Relay.app for only a few weeks and I am already a raving fan. I'm always looking for excuses to build more workflows with it and get more time back in my day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is stable, but still adding new features, so some features I wished it would have are not available quite yet. Sometimes a utility function I expect to exist does not, requiring me to employ a workaround.
Many folks mention the limited number of integrations, which is true, but I am still pleasantly surprised how thoughtfully they have chosen the integrations that they do have. It definitely caters to the business market over personal use, which is fine since that's my use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the User Interface of Relay.app. The number of integrations are certainly less than major competitors (like Zapier or Make), but the integrations that they do have, are significantly better than other automation tool. That's primarily because everything is very easy and intuitive. Their integrations also just work - no weird clunkiness.
But the highlight is their amazing customer service - The founder, Jacob, himself got on a Zoom call along with another team member to help me figure out a workflow for my need. Their human-in-the-loop approach, and AI processes, are pretty great as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest limitation at this point is the limited number of integrations. While they aim for quality of integrations (which I appreciate), it would be good to see them add more integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Relay feels like the modern answer to the rise of no-code tools. It allows you to easily add a layer of automation onto your favourite tools, putting you in control of your own custom workflows.
I have onboarded several clients onto Relay who had no prior knowledge of automation tools, and all were able to get to grips with it and build their own flows with ease. I continue to be impressed by the ease of use and implementation.
When comparing to other market leaders: think of Relay as the intuitive step by step layout of Zapier, combined with the depth of functionality of Make. However, compared to both of them: Relay has a very generous free plan compared to Zapier, and is much easier to learn than Make.
Whether you're looking for your first automation partner, or you're an experienced automation expert, I can't recommend giving Relay.app a go enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to it being a relatively new player on the market, it is missing some integrations that other players have. Some of this is due to those partners not yet releasing options beyond Zapier, and some are simply due to prioritisation of what gets developed. Check out their integration list to make sure the apps you use are already integrated.
I will say: the team is very responsive, and extremely open to feedback. It's one of the benefits of going with a smaller team: you get access to truly passionate people who love their product. I've seen features requested and implemented within 48 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app is mordern and intuitive. Making integration connections to Gmail, Slack and Salesforce are quick and easy. Useability is key here, as you can quickly test the workflows to detmine if everything is working as desired. Spent less than two hours to make a few key workflows. The workflows can be cloned, which makes the process much faster. I'm suyre our team will have more to say in the coming weeks as we've just started using the tool. So far, so good. It's not specifically a problem with Relay, though if user A has the Salesforce access and user B is setting up a workflow, it will require user A to setup the Salesforce part and then user B can finish the flow and even manage the Salesforce portion of the flow. Relay actually does a pretty good job of navigating this permissions issue on the flow and once you create a few flows, it becomes second nature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Relay offers numerous valuable and powerful features.
- Relay's UI is simple and clean, providing a smooth user experience. The UI for such a multifunctional tool is not overwhelming, making it more engaging.
- Support from the Relay team has been EXCEPTIONAL and I hope it remains the same as they scale.
- It is quite easy to use and implement, and there is depth in technical features should you choose to explore further.
- Having the Human Loop feature is a game changer as it helps to stitch together even more complex workflows.
- Though our uses have not required extensive integration, integrations with other apps and platforms have been straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- In general, there could be more help videos showcasing the complex automation that Relay is capable of. Additionally, these videos could be served up to the user based on the current context. For example, if we are working on a specific automation, relevant videos could be surfaced in the help chatbot.
- While Relay has numerous powerful features, they are not immediately apparent. Perhaps the team can showcase creatively showcase/upsell these features ("feature of the week" videos etc).
- More RAG please! Coming from a more technical role, I think this could be a huge product differentiator
- Version tagging could be useful. For now, we can revert to previous versions for any automation, but it may be helpful to let a user tag specific versions of automation. With this sounds very version control-like, it could be useful if automations are always evolving, as it is in our case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Relay for a few weeks now, and in that short amount of time I have been able to take my business from screen shots, and papers to fully online and automated. It's hard to put into words what this software has enabled me to do, I currently use a couple different automations but the biggest one is google forms automation's. There is so many different options to chose from and I can't wait to mess around more with all the different options, to help me out even more. One of my favorite parts is the price, it's unbeatable, the cheapest I could find. I would highly recommend this software to anyone looking to automate any part of their personal or business practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
