Redstor Backup for Microsoft 365 is one of the best decisions we made as a company. The simple and reliable daily backups give us a real peace of mind that our data is ALWAYS protected, company-wide. From the very beginning, we were blown away by the advanced capability of the software, and yet how simple it was to use. The deployment and installation to many desktops, laptops and servers was a real pleasure.
Every day I get a report, informing me of what machines were successfully backed up, which machines missed a backup due to being switched off, etc.... We can see the amount of data being backed up daily, and also how many restore points and restorable data is on the Redstor servers.
The RESTORE function is incredible!! Especially with Office 365. The integration is seamless, and if a user accidentally deletes or corrupts a file, we can simply restore that specific file from yesterday's backup. There are many flexible options!
All the data is encrypted too!!

The ability to find both client MS 365 backups in the same admin console as the Server backup, in addition, is it easy to locate one drive and SharePoint accounts on the admin console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am not able to see the backup errors and causes when an account fails to backup to redstor. I can only see which accounts failed but I am unable to retrieve logs unlike on server/vm backups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Redstor Microsft 365 backup is easy to implement, all I need to be is the Global admin. Once you link Microsoft 365 to Redstor, it gets placed under the client tree structure. This allows when reports are run a complete look at the client's backup picture. This makes it easy to show value to my clients. What i like best about the Office 365 back up from Redstor is that it allows us to implement a back plan while the client is on MS365, this allow the client to be anywhere without a worry and their information is still backed up and encrypted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the time when receiving reports from the System, we recieive false alerts of mailboxes, this then comes to us for investigation and for troubleshooting. The logs are not informative unfortunately. So this leaves you with either runnning the back ups again or leaving it as on the console it will show successful. Very confusing. I enjoy the fact that this is simple to explain and train clients on. This helps when explaining the functions to clients and having them manage as most client administrators would like to keep control of their cloud services. The fact that we cannot control the assigned licenses due to this being marked as unlimited within the console, as the service is sold on a seat level. The fact that control can be administered by the client leaves the risk of the client adding additional seats before we can quote and align the client's account. This has caused clients to get flagged for mistakes made in production, which could have been prevented if this stopped the client in action, by alerting them that they require additional licenses to continue with these changes.
