What do you like best about ReadCube?

I've used since the original version of Papers was released, and it remains just as simple, usable, and powerful as before. Search function, ability to link to library, match functions are all excellent. Customer support was prompt and accurate when I used on 1 occasion at setup, when i had a monor conflict through using a differnet user name than originally - they sorted it out quickly. I use it every day, and it integrates semlessley with Word etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ReadCube?

The ability to read and (mostly) highlight in the app, both using a desktop, laptop, or tablet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ReadCube?

Mainly, how they eliminated many of the great options that the Papers 3 app provided and that made it unique and useful, including:

1. The cumbersome process to add an intext citation in Mac.

2. How difficult it is to create a book or book chapter reference or ciatation.

3. The lack of option to differentiate authors' first and last names. When an author has more than two last names (which is often), one of those is automatically included as a first name.

4. Having to pay annually.

5. The app is slow and complicated. I have to use the web-based option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ReadCube?

1. I love the search function (local or online), nearly every paper you can find.

2. I love the export function. I used to save and manage papers on Endnote, but finally, I found it uneasy to export.

3. I love the reading function, which is like a PDF reader! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ReadCube?

Of course, there is something worth improving.

1. Sometimes, the PDF reader in Papers doesn't work well.

2. It should be better if I can delete the repeating papers one time.

3. Is there any way to automatically detect which of my posts are duplicated? I hope I can see it in the future.

4. When I delete duplicate papers, it always keeps asking me if I've deleted them, even though I already have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ReadCube solving and how is that benefiting you?

there is no big problem for me, actually. in the future, I hope the PDF reader in Papers can be better. I have sent several emails to ask about this. Also, I hope, in the future, I can change the theme. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
