It gives our Employees control over their money. In today's day and age, times can be tough for people money can get tight. Rain gives our employees a bit more autonomy with the way they are paid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a business Rain makes its money on the instant transfer fee, these can add up. I had an employee early on in the use of Rain who made A LOT of small transactions and got hit with the fees for this (even though it clearly states that when you go to make a transfer). From an administrator standpoint, setup was very easy. Rain took care of almost everything and helped walk us through the platform. Utalizing the system day to day is a breeze and they are always willing to support if there is an issue. This was the easiest partner relationship we have ever setup. From an employee standpoint, the app is very easy to setup, simple to navigate and has a built in chat function. Many of our employees use the App several times a week to help pay bills. We switched to Rain from another provider because they offered a free option for our employees. Also, they're not a bank but instead, actually front the money to our employees and send us a deduction file every two weeks. Rain offers same day pay to your team members with a seamless set up and makes for even happier team members who can work one day and get paid the next. I have had other businesses with in our community ask on how this works as they want to be kept up with the newest greatest trends for their team as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Rain for almost 3 years now - the implementation was easy and our team seems to really enjoy the benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I wish we could get a little more insight on is usage of their financial courses that our team members are attending. I know this was something they offered at the beginning but since they have been unable to report on whether team members are utilizing this, I haven't really followed up. The hope is that our team members are not becoming financially burdened by needing to take the advances from Rain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After the initial setup there is hardly anything else an employer has to do and it doesn't cost the employer anything to have this benefit. Rain is app based and easy to use. Any issues are handled directly with Rain customer support. It has been a great recruitment and retention tool. The employees love this benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rain has had some staffing turnover, just like everyone, but seems to have better and more prompt customer service now. I don't like how they send so many texts to employees to entice them to use their system. I would like to see it used more as a budgeting tool and less like an ATM. Everyone was so nice and willing to work with our payroll reports. They reached out to our timekeeping provider and set up all reports they need. We provided examples of reports from our payroll system and worked with us to get them customized for their needs. Using the Rain app itself is super easy and quick. I dislike the 'automated' process for sending employee information over to Rain. I do not want Rain to have access to my HRIS so they can pull a report for me and import into Rain's employee system. Not all of my employees have access to Rain, so I typically will filter those employees out. Having a person at Rain log into Paycom (HRIS) and pull the report for me and filter out the employees doesn't make sense and is too personal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
