What do you like best about Quickbase?

The QuickBase team itself is the best thing about the product. They're always available and always willing to help. They even helped us evaluate what use cases are a good fit for QuickBase implementation and which are not.

Quickbase has evolved over time into a platform that we are unable to live without. It is a productivity booster for our teams and we've been able to pass on many benefits of the platform and its low-cost low-code features to our numerous clients as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The platform lacks a fresh and an enhanced user experience especially from UI perspective. All you can do so far with the platform is change its color however client needs have gone way past this feature and an ability to synergize with client's branding requirements is the need of the hour.

QuickBase needs to pull up their socks in this area and provided enhanced UX capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Quickbase being a LCNC platform helps us build back-office applications for our customers and internal organization as well in quick turnaround, low cost, low maintenance fee, and has helped us achieve faster and higher productivity. Quickbase scores high on our cost-benefit analysis and therefore a go-to platform for productivity achievement. We've deployed QB in HR, Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting, Insurance, ITSM etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase is straightforward and easy to use, even for someone like me who is self-taught. I was able to build three apps before I even met with a trainer, and it has been a good tool for organizing and centralizing our processes. I like that it allows us to keep everything in one place instead of needing separate apps for communication, inventory, and other tasks. That is a big deal for us because we are a small but growing company, and we do not have the time or resources to juggle multiple systems. It is also flexible enough that I can tweak things as we grow or as our needs change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Our biggest issue before Quickbase was communication. We run two shifts in our chemical manufacturing facility, and information wasn’t always getting passed down properly—things like equipment issues, inventory levels, or what stage a batch was in. We started with paper forms, but they were not cutting it. With Quickbase, we have been able to create apps that help us track and share this information more effectively. It has made communication between shifts a lot smoother, which is something everyone here appreciates.

Another benefit is having everything centralized. Before, we were using different tools for different tasks, and it was a hassle. Now, we can manage things like inventory and production tracking all in one place. It has also helped us keep up with our growth. When I started here, we had around eight employees; now we are at nearly 50. Quickbase has made it easier to scale without adding unnecessary complexity. That said, I am always looking for ways to improve what we have built. I am self-taught, so I know there are probably better ways to do some things. But even with that, Quickbase has been a solid solution for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Quickbase has helped with numerous communication gaps that we were having at our company. With all information in one location and available on any device with internet access we can provide the best products to our customers and the best working environment to our employees. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase works for me because it’s simple to use and feels intuitive, especially since I’m not an IT guy—I’m an accountant. It’s similar to Excel in how I can visualize and build processes, which makes it easy for me to create what I need without needing a coder. I also like that it’s flexible. I can build something that fits exactly how we run our business, and if we need to tweak it, we can. It’s not a one-size-fits-all solution, which is important for us. Another thing I appreciate is how Quickbase lets us manage everything from the point of sale to the point of swinging a hammer. It handles commissions, task management, and ensures things are done the right way. That kind of control is key for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The app could do with an update but other than that it's perfect for what we do Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Quickbase, we were using Google Sheets, which caused all kinds of issues. It wasn’t secure, and it wasn’t built to handle the complexity of our business. At my previous company, we used a Microsoft Access database, but that required hiring someone with specific expertise to maintain it. Quickbase has been a great middle ground—it’s more secure and capable than Google Sheets but doesn’t require a dedicated coder to manage.

With Quickbase, we’ve been able to streamline our operations. It manages everything between the sale and the start of the job, which has made our processes much smoother. It’s also helped us as we’ve grown. For example, we’re splitting our business into two divisions, and Quickbase makes it easy to separate and manage those workflows. We’ve even built a second app specifically for one division, which we can also use as a template for other companies in our dealer network.

The biggest benefit is that Quickbase gives us control and flexibility. We can adapt it to fit our needs, and it’s helped us run our business more efficiently. It’s also a tool I can recommend to others in our industry because I know it works." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

A reliable tool for sharing and visualizing data with controls is Quickbase. It works effectively as a tool for visualizing enormous data sets and as a data repository. Customer satisfaction has increased due to the process automation's reduction of errors and waiting times. I wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic tool. and customer support, integration of use these are most like features in this product Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

There is only one negative feeling about this product, All of the data will be gone if someone deletes a profile by mistake. While having a backup system that runs automatically would be convenient, during our testing and usage of the software, we were unable to find that option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a ticketing solution, my team uses it. We have assigned tasks and due dates to every team member using this software. Additionally, it has enabled us to pinpoint projects that need additional staffing. Recognizing these circumstances has made it possible for us to make proactive corrections to assignments before team member discord develops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Being able to customize a database and having different options to how the database works is awesome!

I like the idea of the Office Hours however, I wish there were more opportunities/times available (instead of 1 hour each day).

There are ways to create custom roles for internal and external users; this helps keep certain data/internal processes private. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

They force changes on the users (e.g. the Sidebar Navigation versus Top Navigation); changes in how some of the reporting graphs are (e.g. the total change from a gauge chart to a totally different circular design).

These changes without letting the end user decide what is best for them is not very customer friendly.

There should be more individualized trainings available, specific to what the business users needs are; I don't mind the general training/certification, but it's too generalized and doesn't always fit the actual training needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm still waiting to hear about the graph issue I shared a several weeks ago.

The current graphs shorten long titled categories (on bar charts, pie charts, etc.). Yes, the new dashboard does fix this, which is great. However, the new dashboard gets rid of the current gauge charts and replaces them with some circular design.

I wouldn't mind switching to the new dashboard if we can keep using the current gauge charts. OR, fix the issue with the long titled categories having "..." on the charts on the current dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on Quickbase. We're pleased to hear that you value the customization and role creation features. We understand your concerns about the forced changes and the need for more tailored training options. Your feedback will be taken into account as we strive to enhance our platform.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

When I was new on QuickBase, it was a little complicated for me but when I spent some time on it.

It is easier to access everything, I like the features of QuickBase like pipelines and action things.

While the Implementation of something, action is very useful and because of the pipeline, it got very easy to integrate some other platforms as well.

When we got any issue or something we reached out to customer support or help center where we resolved our issue.

And not I am a frequent user of Quickbase Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

When we have to update something in pipeline, it gets turned off.

While updating the live pipeline, it goes into draft mode instead of being turned off.

this will be very good for users.

New form. it takes time when we update some field on form and open any record Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like the new UI, where the table shows sideways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Camille Shortridge of Quickbase

Hello Sourabh, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're happy to hear that you've been enjoying Quickbase and have found value in the use of building out pipelines and in integrations with other applications. Regarding your feedback, we invest significantly in performance regularly to improve speed for all users. Many factors could directly or indirectly contribute to perceived performance issues in your app(s) and are likely unrelated to the platform itself. We ask our users to consider scale and performance when building large or complex apps. You can read more about scaling Quickbase in our Help Center (attached in the link below).

Additionally, resources are available to all of our customers to analyze the performance of their apps, and — for customers on our Enterprise plans -- ways to automatically optimize or uncover insights into improving performance in your apps. If you need additional help, please get in touch with our technical support team for further assistance; we will be happy to take a look at this together.

Thank you again for your review and feedback, and we look forward to hearing from you!

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Our company has used Quickbase for eight years. Originally set up by our VP of Operations, I was brought on two years later. I was able to learn everything about Quickbase on my own, through the University, and have created and maintained a dozen apps since then. Much more user friendly than early databases such as Oracle. I have also had some outstanding customer service and support from the teams at Quickbase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Not being able to customize some of the apps, fields, and reports, can sometimes be a little frustrating. Some of our users are not computer saavvy, we are in the construction business, and they have their own ideas of what they would like to see and work with but it isn' always possible. Instances of table relationships causing issues, not integrating the way we would like, can also cause minor pain. Overall, I have had very few issues that couldn't be solved one way or another. Lastly, some of the new UI features are not as "user friendly" as they were before the updates. This makes navigation somewhat cumbersome at times, especially for those who have limited computer knowledge. They are comfortable with the way it's set up and then it changes, which isn't ideal for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Quickbase as a job tracker, equipment inventory & maintenance record, monitor safety records and information, employee information, just about everything that happens in the company is tracked through Quickbase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

We're glad to hear that you find Quickbase easy to use and that it has been a valuable tool for your company over the years. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase allows me to go from a concept to an actual application within an hour, yet is also flexible enough that I can make additions or changes to the system later on. There is a good support network of people using it, and ChatGPT knows the system well enough that it can provide support as well. The "per use" pricing (rather than "per user") allows us to roll it out to all of our customers without taking a major cost hit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The salespeople are sometimes slow to respond, and they don't have the technical background that I would like to see. Also, they seem to be transitioning to supporting larger customers, so smaller ones like me (4 major applications, a few hundred users, most of whom are light-usage customers) don't get as much consideration as new options are rolled out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tracking of different parts being shipped worldwide, including back order tracking.

Generating price quotes.

Tracking labor spent on different activities with the simplicity of a QR code for clocking in and out.

Many other logistics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jerry Kleva of Quickbase

We appreciate your feedback on the ease of deployment and flexibility of Quickbase. We understand the importance of responsive sales support and technical expertise, and we will work to address these areas. It's great to hear how Quickbase has benefited your business in tracking shipments, generating price quotes, and managing labor activities.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase platform is like a canvas that enables to create any kind of business workflows implemented in quick turnaround. It's only the creativity we need to create any kind of sophisticated functionalities right-from the intuitive user forms, impactful reports/dashboards and seamless process automation making use of pipelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The capability to manage large data over 2 million records and the easeness of archiving the data can be improved. It will help to make it a large enterprise solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Quickbase is proved to be a great platform to build great project management, order management and ticket management solutions. It helps to have quicker development cycles while also gives leverage to make any structural changes as and when needed. This makes the solution more scalable and robust. The pipelines functionality adds more power to the platform by enabling us to create seamless data and process flows. We use APIs for extensibility building many custom utilities and integrations around the main system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

I think there are a lot of good options within this platform. They have been focusing on upgrading the technology with AI and other options to make a cleaner approach. We utilize different options within this platform, including our primary reporting database, project management, among others. The tools have become easier to use over time. More recently the support team has become helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

My first thought is the customer support. Over years of use, we have had numerous CSMs, Account Managers, etc...many of which were non-responsive, unsupportive, and in many cases difficult to work with. While that had gotten better in 2022-2023, it fell off again in 2024. It's a revovlving door of people who don't seem to know much about our account. There's no one to reach out to check in or provide updates on new products or tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently, it provides our entire reporting database. We upgraded this over the past couple of years with better dashboards. It's still a little clunky, but it's progressing. The Project Management platform has not been as successful. We hope that with upgrades, this will allow us to better manage our projects in a more streamlined fashion. It's been a struggle to adapt to the use as the process of adding and creating within the project management piece is somewhat manual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

My team made our own platform for project, maintenance, and performance tracking. It has everything we could ask for and more. With a little help from IT we have automatic APIs pulling in production data as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Not really quickbase's fault, but the more I add the more complicated it gets. Sometimes it is not the best or most customizable at first glance, but usually there are backdoors to get the look you want, but it may involve some light code.

Unsure how it scales, sometimes it is slow to load, but we have a loooot going on in the background now which may have something to do with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Quickbase solving and how is that benefiting you?

letting us track all details on our projects, maintenance cases, dispatches, performance, and a whole plethora of related things.
