What do you like best about QLess?

I love that QLess takes the guesswork out of estimating how long the wait is when assisting guests who visit our office. The live status page and text messages for guests is also a great plus, especially if folks decide to step away from our lobby to go grab coffee or stop by another office while they wait. What do you dislike about QLess?

I don't love the terminology used in QLess. For example, while using phrases like "walk-ins" is quite common, we do serve visitors who need accessbility accommodations and always refer to our "walk-in" services as "drop-ins" instead.

I also wish that when staff summon guests that instead of disappearing from the CEC, they would remain on there until services have been completed. Perhaps those being summoned and served can be moved to the bottom with a status bubble that says "Summoned" and "Now Serving" - this might just be a quirk because of how our office operates, with front desk staff monitoring QLess' CEC for drop-ins with back-office staff actually meeting with guests.

Another downside (likely just another quirk with our office) is that our office is located in a concrete building which provides poor data connection where guests may not receive text messages or be able to refresh the status screen if they choose to wait inside the building for services. We aren't able to display identifying information (names, phone numbers, etc.) on a screen in the lobby, but we could look into it if guests were assigned a random number when adding themselves to the queue that would display on the screen instead. What problems is QLess solving and how is that benefiting you?

QLess is helping to solve our lobby traffic, especially during peak periods when we have seen guests waiting in our lobby for 40-90+ minutes at a time, unable to leave because we did not have a way to notify them when we were ready to meet with them if they weren't sitting in our lobby. What do you like best about QLess?

Qless has an excellent platform for managing the flow of appointments and walkin guests. It was easy to implement in our environment and integrated nicely into our operations.

The configuration is easy to understand and the operation is easy to train. Our guests and employees enjoy having a simple interface to engage with.

What do you dislike about QLess?

The product is still growing and, as such, occasionally there is functionality that seems like it would make sense to have in a B2B queue management system baked in already but is not avaliable.

For example, a way to see all services assigned to all users in one place. Currently, you have to individually view each user to see what service is assigned to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QLess?

There isnt really anything we do not like, i just wish that same day reporting was available vs next day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QLess solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the ease of joining the line from anywhere our customers are able to join the line while driving into our office. It is literally 20 mins from anywhere in Houston. One can join the line and arrive here with a shorter wait in our customer lobby!! I feel we are more able to predict volume by studying any trends from days, weeks, months and years previous. What do you like best about QLess?

The communication with appointments for customers. I like that they recieve email and texts and that they recieve updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have had several people with confirmed appointments with emails and text message confirmations, that are not reflected on our side.

Unable to summon more than one person at each station. We must end the session immediately after beginning the service in order to move onto the next person which is creating inaccurate statistics.

What do you like best about QLess?

Qless allows the users to manage wait times and send those in line a text message when it's their time. It also allows the user to document in a very efficient manner. Qless is a great tool for the education field for admissions and advising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes Qless can take a little bit longer to update and can be somewhat confusing to a first time user. However, it's really easy to learn and practice does make perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QLess?

The virtual queuing system is undoubtedly the best thing about QLess. No longer having to stand around and wait in a physical line, students are much happier since we implemented QLess at Del Mar College. Student satisfaction was on full display during our most recent registration period, where some of our queues had anywhere from 60 to 70 students at a time. With QLess, the wait is much more palatable, with students being able to wait at any of our provided lounge seating, computer stations, or in our cafeteria dining area while waiting to be summoned. What do you dislike about QLess?

A few features are a bit dated in appearance and function and could benefit from quality-of-life updates. That said, QLess has recently updated many of the platform's tools, and the QLess team has assured me that more platform updates are forthcoming. Long lines and crowding were persistent issues for our Student Service areas before Del Mar College transitioned to virtual queues with QLess. QLess has provided us the means to no longer rely on physical lines and eliminate the need for students to congregate in any one space while they wait for their turn. Additionally, analytics were difficult or time-consuming to measure before QLess. With QLess, our attendants have access to a variety of metrics such as student interaction length, student service time and dates, the type of service they received, and much more. What do you like best about QLess?

I like the organization of our queues, the communications with our customers and the ease of scheduling appointments. Most recently, I was appreciative of the ability to cancel several hundred appointments when we had to close for a hurricane. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Currently, QLess is providing a way for customers to schedule appointments from home alleviating the need for them to call our offices. It also provides staff with a tool to organize and group services based on staff availability.
