What is PushPress?

PushPress is a full-stack gym management system that is here to help you grow your fitness facility. With PushPress, you'll be able to manage classes and privates, take payments, track attendance, manage leads, and maintain member relationships all from the palm of your hand! PushPress was founded in 2012 to solve the modern-gym owner's problems. To truly understand those problems, we decided to open a gym and go through the pains of building and running a gym. When we came up with problems in our gyms, we would explore how technology could help solve them. The result is a platform that can integrate with third-party software to allow gym owners to build the system their business needs, a system that is easy and intuitive to use for the gym owner on the go, and paired with rockstar customer support (who all have owned gyms)

PushPress is a gym membership and management software platform that helps gym owners to run their fitness facility. The suite of products allows users to manage classes and privates, take payments, track attendance, manage leads, as well as manage and maintain member relationships. Users are able to access all system features via mobile device while on-the-go, including built-in complimentary task based apps.

How do you position yourself against your competitors?

PushPress is a software built by gym owners.

We built PushPress to solve the needs of gym owners, through the lens of being a gym owner, ourselves. Every other solution we tested, was too complicated, not powerful enough, not customizable enough, or had terrible customer support.

We pride ourselves in being on the ground level and in the community of passionate business owners, set on helping their communities get healthier and more fit. We've built several online groups of thousands of other gym owners, to collectively share what is working in their communities. And in 2020, we created the PushPress Grant, to help provide some financial help for gyms that needed it the most.

Gym management software should be more than a tool. It should powerful, customizable, and easy to use. It should help you build community. If not, ditch what you have and join PushPress!

What do you like best about PushPress?

The people behind the curtain. There's no such thing as a "perfect" system because many of us have different needs (and always will)... but the team at PP listens and does their best to build a platform that serves us all Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PushPress?

As stated above, everyone has different needs and there are times I wish something would be higher on the priority list... but beyond that and a few technical things that they are already in the process of sorting out, I really don't have many dislikes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PushPress?

What do you like best about PushPress?

The ease of signing people up, being able to have members reserve class and love the ability to make landing pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PushPress?

The cancellation of membership, if I accidentally add the wrong thing I have to cancel out the selection and then re-elect the correct one but the mistake stays in the account they don't fall off Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Agreed that membership cancellation/upgrade/downgrade is a bit clunky. We've got some plans slotted for this to make it a lot easier to manage. But we're happy to hear that some of the tools in the system helped you guys around the covid restrictions. Onward and upward!

What do you like best about PushPress?

I set up my gym in no time after purchasing it from a burnt out owner. The back-end went from dumpster fire (inconsistent billing, duplicate accounts, missing info everywhere, no check-in, etc) to well-oil machine within a week. I thought it was too good to be true but 18 months later we're still running SMOOTH AS BUTTER BABY! The best part is that it simply works as promised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PushPress?

Sometimes I want things to be over-customizable, such as landing pages, redirects, etc. But there isn't much to complain about here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PushPress?

What do you dislike about PushPress?

Generic auto generated e-mails saying "your plan has ended" - confusing to the customer. It needs to specify exactly what plan ended. For example we have a nutrition challenge and that plan ended, but people thought I had revoked their membership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tracking member attendance/at risk members, hands off billing, a historic tool for contact tracing if ever needed for Covid, planning for expected class size & different fitness levels. Easy communications via e-mail SMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PushPress?

If you want to call it a compalaint you can, but somwtimes the login app hangs up and crashes. A simple restart usually fixes the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PushPress?

Since moving over from ZP, we have better-streamlined our services, reduced cc fees, and increased awareness of our revenue streams for Nutrition and Hybrid Plans.
