What do you like best about Protonmail?

The great thing about Proton Mail is actually that the privacy of yours is actually protected. The business is actually based in Switzerland, a nation with several of the most strict data safety laws of the planet, as well as features a "record keeping policy" which doesn't gather or perhaps store the IP addresses of yours. Additionally, it allows for people to create accounts and make payments applying cryptographic currencies and never have to offer any private info, provides a very good encryption techniques like AES 256, and e-mails are actually delivered in total encrypted form so they can't be compromised by hackers or maybe additional cybercriminals. Additionally, Protonmail supports a number of devices and combines well with email management solutions like Thunderbird. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

The style isn't revolutionary, and users have very few options of settings. Additionally, customer care is unresponsive, as well as the mailbox doesn't have effective options like a a calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

Doesn't ask personal info such as birthday & name. This is great because if your email is compromised they wont have that information. This software is free to use, but can be upgraded for a fee. I also have the app and it works well. Email is secure and encrypted.

The functionality of the labels & folders are helpful and keeps my emails organized between personal as well as company emails. Easy to use, straight forward and for a small fee of less than $10 per month you can also have custom email domains. Auto responder is easy to set up. App is also great. What do you dislike about Protonmail?

Nothing that I dislike currently, other than maybe the UI interface. It could look better. I think that the user interface could look better, in terms of color and icons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

Proton Mail is quite inexpensive.  It's really simple to make thousands of accounts. Protonmail provides an API that is easily accessible to Java, making it easy to manage these accounts. So you can get a program that can connect to the Protonmail API and sending emails. Unlike other email services providers, Protonmail only requires a minimum level of authentication. You don't need to enter a mobile number of each email account, just enter your name, and you can continue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

The amount of space available for e-mail is limited. You should always keep your e-mail clean so that you don't lose it. In addition, switching to a high-capacity warehouse can be quite expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

I like the encrypted aspect of protonmail and the UI is similar to most public email providers which makes the switch easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

Protonmail was hacked, which is a huge black mark on the record of a secure email provider. It's easy to believe that a "secure" email provider reduces the level of protective measures you need to take to secure your information, but that's a false sense of security. What do you like best about Protonmail?

I don't like Protonmail, I love Protonmail, and it is because the service has an integrated VPN called ProtonVPN and has various reliable IP addresses in all parts of the world. For me, it is excellent as I offer a web development service, especially for the benefit of my company. The user interface is super easy to use and can be customized to your liking. The email dashboard is clean with integrated options that you as a user can really use.

Protonmail offers a very professional service, the platform is quite lightweight, which neither saturates the connection and makes the service fast and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

Protonmail is an email service that works excellently, but recently there have been issues with the theme customization; suddenly the theme resets and stays with the default theme, no matter how often you readjust it, it only lasts a few days custom and the problem reappears, all fields are reset.

I also find a problem with the limitation of aliases you can add, the amount should be expanded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

Secure emails (end to end encryption), Mobile apps for Android and Iphone. They have a good support site, and an easy form to use to contact an actual human to help.

They have a completely FREE VPN for 1 device - this is a great deal for personal use.

They also offer 2 factor authentication directly from their settings menu.

In essence, security and privacy is a key component to Protonmail, and many users who valu these traits should definitely use their services.

You have an option to receive mail at a shortened email address from @protonmain.com to @pm.me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

I didn't like the pay to upgrade, they should at least have 1 gig of space available on the free account to properly use the service before deciding to upgrade.

You have an option to receive mail at a shortened email address from @protonmain.com to @pm.me, to send mail from the @pm.me , you have to have a paid account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

The fact its platform is user-friendly and has categories for each section makes this clearer to understand and find what a user wants to find. The use of having 256bit encryption means it is a reliable source for security as much as privacy this makes it a huge benefit as talking to staff through this mailing software can be communicated safely and securely. What do you dislike about Protonmail?

They only give 500mb storage for free users. This should be available up to 1GB to gain better experience with storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Protonmail?

The user interface is simple to use even for beginners and its end to end encryption means no one can see no matter what unless encryption is cracked which most likely won't be meaning messages and much more are sent securely without hesitations or problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

I dislike that storage at ProtonMail is limited meaning users don't get s big variety of experience with storage therefore should be 1gb at least for each free user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most significant advantage of Protonmail is the protection of user privacy. The company's headquarters in the country with the strictest privacy law in the world - Switzerland, and it has a no-logs policy, which means that the user's IP address is not collected and maintained. Additionally, users are not required to provide any personal data to create an account and can pay for the service using cryptocurrencies. They ensure excellent encryption methods like AES-256, and emails are sent using end-to-end encryption, making them indecipherable to hackers and other cybercriminals. Furthermore, Protonmail supports many devices and integrates well with email management solutions like Thunderbird. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Protonmail?

The design is not modern and users do not have many customization options. Additionally, customer service does not respond quickly and the mailbox is not equipped with powerful features like the Calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
