I appreciate that the item utilizes a data set toward the back. I like how adjustable the item is. We can coordinate custom code into the Sitefinity project. This supports our capacity to incorporate web-based business parts, client assistance choices and content that is customized to every individual client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A ton of what should be possible inside Sitefinity feels hard to find, this could be due to unfortunate documentation in regions. This makes taking on Sitefinity very troublesome. It isn't so much that Sitefinity is horrible here, yet it tends to be all in all an errand to track down the right answer for an issue, and frequently Sitefinity has something set up to guarantee you don't have to waste time, yet it would simply be great if that was simpler to find. The user experience of being able to hop in and create/edit content with no deep background, but having the capibilities of deep coding projects if needed. All tools are self-intuative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you need deeper programming or coding work done, you'll need addtional support in terms of staff or vendor to execute the project. I do wish there was a bit more support or training where this would be a thought. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, my favorite thing about Sitefinity is the headless architecture of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I had a community of users from my industry using this product. I would enjoy sharing insight with other people that share similar use of sitefinity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far, I have not found anything I dislike about Progress Sitefinity yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The overall editor experience is lovely, really easy to use and makes for a nice 'live-like' experience when changing content out. I would rate the usability of the back-end very highly if you're simply just editing pages and managing basic content outside of this, like media.
Sitefinity is also packed full of features, web services (API) built in, CRM, etc... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of what can be done within Sitefinity feels difficult to discover, this could be down to poor documentation in areas; while there are examples for some things there are not for others and the docs assume a lot of 'basic Sitefinity knowledge' which doesn't translate from other CMS solutions... This does make adopting Sitefinity quite difficult.
It's not that Sitefinity is terrible here, but it can be quite a chore to find the right solution to a problem, and often Sitefinity have something in place to ensure you do not need to reinvent the wheel, but it would just be nice if that was easier to discover. Flexibility, ubiquitous, and many great out-of-the-box tools to build from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WYSIWYG is not always WYSIWYG. Version upgrading has been complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are plenty of pre-built widgets for all kinds of content including news, blog, social media, general content, and more. The templates are easy to work with and Sitefinity also options a number of connections to platform such as HubSpot and Marketo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Drag and drop features can be buggy when trying to place widgets and content into pages. Also, sometimes the styling can interfere with adding content because it renders front-end code on the backend making it difficult to place/edit content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy making adjustments to web pages in real-time and paying close attention to the placement of elements on the website. Progress's technical support staff is accountable and works diligently to resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is difficult to pinpoint a flaw, although the procedure of updating to newer versions may be one. I believe the manual may use some further details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am very pleased with the product roadmap of this product and their customer support. We are currently testing .net core support since beta version of Sitefinity and their developer has been helping throughout this process. Their response time and time to resolve our development issues for this has been extraordinary. We have scheduled a monthly check-in for our adoption of their new release and allowed us to talk to their dev's directly when we need help. This gives us confidence to use their latest releases as soon as they come in so that we can benefit from them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They need to change the whole stack to .net core for more performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is easy to use and adaptable to our business needs. Tools, resoures, and widgets make design and use very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes pubilsing and page loads are very slow. We have had very few issues but on a few occasions, we have had challenges with troubleshooting issues and longer than expected resolution time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
