"In-Depth Insights and Intuitive UX That Drive Real Strategy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The features are super in-depth for one of these tools and go well beyond helping you optimize for AI search, actually advising you on business and product strategy. Some of the recommendations we've seen for ourselves and clients using Profound have been truly profound and would lead to an improvement in their positioning in the market. I think that's the power of what the team at Profound have built. The UI and UX are pretty good and quite intuitive. We didn't have to use their support or onboarding service because it was straightforward enough to get started. We haven't really used any integrations either. The performance has been very strong. It's not the cheapest tool, but I think if you implement the recommendations, then the ROI would be significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The pricing is on the higher side for one of these tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent design and features for GEO tracking, though pricing feels steep"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I really like the design, how simple the tool is to use, and the range of features that keep getting released. The product's UI/UX is really cool and easy to use. You get the hang of it very quickly, which is great. I'm impressed and I really like the new Ask feature that lets you pull relevant insights from the different accounts you manage, for example, understanding why visibility has dropped on a specific tool. The AI is really cool on that front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Here is the translation:

Regarding pricing, it's true that it remains very high, it's one of the most expensive tools on the market. That said, quality comes at a price. But still, it's pretty steep. As for integrations, I get the impression that the API isn't available to everyone, which is a shame because many other tools offer it, and it would really simplify our workflow. I think that's an area for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Staying Ahead of AI Trends with Profound’s Insights, Features, and Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound keeps on the top of the AI trends by giving us the resources to learn about new releases and expectations from different AEO sources, track key words and prompts, and see how we're measuring against competitors.

They are constantly adding new features, updating the Profound UI, and enabling new integrations to support the ever-changing landscape of AI optimization.

Their account management has been incredibly knowledgable, supportive and available to help us identify strategies and key areas to focus on optimizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I'd prefer a dedicated account manager to help us guide our roadmap and website strategy a little more reliably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable insights for the new era of search"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I really appreciate the depth of the server log integration and the granularity of the crawler analytics. As a technical SEO, traditional tools often leave you blind to how AI engines perceive your site, and Profound changes that by giving us clear visibility into exactly which user-agent bots are crawling our infrastructure and when.

The platform also makes it easy to pinpoint crawl errors that specifically affect AI bots, so we can fix access issues before they impact our brand’s visibility in generative search results.

Beyond the raw data, the UX/UI is highly intuitive, making it easy to parse complex log files and quickly pinpoint crawl errors specifically affecting AI bots. I'm also incredibly impressed by the platform's performance. The interface is snappy and runs seamlessly without any lag, which is no small feat considering the massive volume of pages and daily crawler hits we ingest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There isn’t much to dislike overall. If I had to point to one area for improvement, it would be the log viewer - it could really benefit from more advanced filtering options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong GEO Insights and Automation, but Needs a Prompt Universe"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

It provides a clear understanding of how content, technical SEO, and brand authority initiatives are influencing GEO visibility, citations, and share of voice. It also simplifies the assessment of overall brand presence relative to competitors, including how performance evolves MoM and YoY. The platform offers strong high-level visual summaries while still enabling deeper drill-down analysis when more granular insights are needed.

Another key strength of Profound is its built-in agentic platform, which helps automate GEO workflows and has significantly reduced the time spent pulling reports, analyzing data, and generating insights.

Additionally, the support team is highly responsive and effective in addressing queries and providing ongoing assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Since Profound is a relatively new-age platform focused on measuring the evolving search landscape, there are still a few capabilities that more established traditional SEO tools offer by default. One such area is the availability and transparency of the underlying prompt universe. The absence of visibility into this dataset can materially limit the level of confidence and trust clients place in Profound’s recommendations and reporting outputs.

Additionally, the platform could further improve its pricing structure and reduce constraints around the number of prompts and supported platforms, which would help make the solution more scalable and flexible for enterprise-level usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched AI search visibility - made actionable"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I love the visibility Profound provides us into how we're performing across AI-driven search. The standard SEO tracking tools aren't cutting it. I haven't seen anything as granular as Profound - and with their latest addition of Workflows, it's not just about tracking or recommendations - we can now take actions on those in a much quicker way. Beyond the capabilities of the tool, I highly appreciate the team. The level of responsiveness has been a massive value-add for us, with the Head of Growth himself jumping into calls to talk strategy. Can't recommend Profound enough - looking forward to all the major updates and upcoming features! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Insightful Dashboards, Effortless Data Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I really like Profound's dashboards and data. They make it very easy to digest. I also like a lot their new agent feature, where you can take some of this data and then turn it into actionable insights, such as writing an article based on the gaps it identifies for you. The dashboards we use are mostly for visibility and ranking, helping us understand how we are doing against competitors. I also like the matrix view because it shows on which platforms we're being relevant, and where we're winning against competitors. Plus, the initial setup of Profound was very easy. What do you dislike about Profound?

Nothing, I like profound as it is and wouldn't change it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Data-Driven Competitive Monitoring With Actionable SEO Priorities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The competitive monitoring capability stands out the most. Within weeks of onboarding, we had a clear, data-driven picture of exactly where we stood in AI-generated search results across our key degree programs—something we had no visibility into before. The tool doesn’t just show the gap; it explains why it exists and what to fix. For a marketing team managing 14 campuses with limited content resources, that kind of prioritization makes all the difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The implementation requires meaningful internal coordination across multiple teams ,web, SEO, and content, which takes time to set up properly. The tool surfaces great recommendations, but acting on them depends entirely on your internal capacity to execute. If your content team is stretched, the gap between insight and action can feel wide. Not a flaw in the product, but something to plan for before you start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Makes AI Visibility Measurable, Trackable, and Actionable"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is that it makes AI visibility measurable and actionable. You can see where a brand shows up, which competitors are appearing, what prompts matter, and which sources are being cited.

It helps turn AEO from a broad concept into something you can actually track, report on, and improve over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I don’t have anything I strongly dislike about Profound. So far, my experience has been positive, and the platform has been extremely useful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Valuable Platform for Understanding and Improving AI Search Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

What I like best about Profound is that it gives our team actual visibility into how Highspot is showing up across AI-powered search experiences like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot. Instead of guessing how AI models are interpreting our brand and content, we now have actionable insights that help shape our SEO/GEO strategy, content priorities, and authority-building efforts. I also appreciate that the platform continues to evolve quickly beyond reporting into workflow automation and operational insights, which has helped us think more strategically about how AI search will impact demand generation long term. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

Because AI search is evolving so quickly, some parts of the platform and integrations still feel early. We ran into challenges integrating certain analytics capabilities into our hosting and caching infrastructure, which limited visibility in a few areas without additional custom work. We’ve also had internal conversations about where Profound fits best strategically, particularly around broader localization workflows versus AI search optimization specifically. That said, the team has been very responsive to feedback, and the pace at which they’re shipping improvements has been impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
