"The backbone of how we run AEO and organic social"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound is the backbone of how we run our AEO and organic social strategy. We use it to identify the citation source gaps where competitors are getting cited on Reddit, YouTube, and comparison sites and we aren't, which directly informs where we invest community engagement and disclosed employee program effort. The prompt-level competitor visibility data drives our content roadmap. We can see exactly which topical territories competitors own (goal alignment, sprint planning, onboarding) and prioritize the gaps where we have a real product story to tell. On the cannibalization side, the engine-by-engine breakdown helped us understand why our branded search was eroding even when our Google AI Overviews citation share looked strong. Same brand, very different story per surface. Profound is the only tool I've used that connects all of that in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There's really not much! They just need to continue implementing new features (they currently are at a rapid pace). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Proactive, Responsive Account Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Its very user-friendly, easy navigation and clear labeling to help you as you work on your projects. We also really enjoy out account services support lead, we recently shifted to our second person and both have been very responsive. And proactive, knowing our work projects and potential use cases to share upcoming or net new offerings that may be a good fit for us. We are shifting to a different pricing model at our contract renewal so jury is out there, which will be a point system. I think this will help our team keep better track of projects and points so overall should be seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I wish we had access to track more of the LLMs- its likely a contract limitation because I know its possible to track Claude, for example. There are some kinks to work through that we have to go to our Acct lead for, and I wish we could just handle so we didn't have to have our hand held, but at times we cannot fix the issue on our own (for example with prompts not uploading correctly or a topic completely failing and not collecting data). One big issue we have is how the data exports, its a very messy file to the point its not usable. So we are working on possibly integrating the API, but also have a few workarounds we use to create a better workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Performance with Comprehensive Data Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I like the depth and breadth of data and the tools to analyze that data in Profound. There's constant attention to updating and creating new ways to look at and collect data, which allows us to put together analysis and strategy for our clients. It's pretty seamless and works really well, exactly as it's promised to be. It's really valuable in the way we can put together analysis and strategy for our clients. We evaluated a few other options and found that Profound was more capable and complete than those for what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The automated prompt generation for onboarding new brands isn't quite as good as doing that process manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an SEO manager, Profound is my ultimate toolkit for the AI search era. It gives me real-time visibility into our brand citations and domain footprint across all major LLMs. More than just a tracking tool, its powerful workflow builder lets me deploy custom AI agents that automate our optimization processes, allowing us to scale our AEO efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The biggest opportunity for Profound is to integrate traditional SEO metrics, like keyword research, and rankings—alongside its LLM tracking to create the ultimate all-in-one search visibility platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, In-Depth Analysis with Smooth Integration and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

The best thing about Profound is how easy it is to understand and how in-depth its analysis is. It is quick to add the queries you want, see where you stand, and understand it. The AI feature gives you a quick summary as well as a quick draft to write an article and/or improve an existing piece. The performance and the integration are smooth as well. Lastly, the team's overall support is also great, and in a few months of using it, we can already see some ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

I feel the only thing Profound can do better at is to provide more training, given that they have a lot of new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Makes GEO Measurable with Clear Visibility and Share-of-Voice Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

It is really helpful to know our visibility ranking vs competitors and to be able to track our share of voice. Measuring prompt volumes and being able to track bot visits and extrapolate human visits is helpful for our website metrics. But the biggest benefit is Profound takes the guesswork out of GEO and makes it a measurable channel for us, it removes the. guesswork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The hard part is that the dashboards have multiple ways to access metrics and the dashboards are not super intuitive. Without our CSM supporting us and helping us figure out how to best utilize it, I feel like we might be missing ways to pull up and refine data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Profound Makes AEO Optimization Easy with Actionable Ranking Recommendations"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound was the first AEO tool that I discovered, right when I was starting to learn what AEO was. Not only does the tool give you ranking of how your website compares to your competitors, but it gives you exact recommendations on what you can do to rank higher over time. The platform is super easy to use and simple for a beginner to jump right in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

The pricing can be a bit high, but if you're serious about getting your business to show up in AI search engines, it worth it to know exactly what changes to make. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust AEO Tool with Great Profound University Courses"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

I like the dashboard features of the platform as well as how customizable it is. The agent features integrate well with other tools in my workflow. I especially like the Profound University courses which helped me understand the platform and learn in a more hands-on way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There isn't much I dislike about the platform. It does take a bit of a time investment to understand all of the features, which can lead to information overload as a new user. However, I appreciate that the tool is robust and provides the level of depth that it does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy the user interface is to navigate and find visibility and insights into our brands and products. Onboarding and configuration of profound has been extremely useful and helpful. The AI agent features they continue to improve on have been a game change for research and to action on opportunities. The platform itself is very response providing us insights quickly. This is the most polished LLM visibility tool that I have seen to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-use AEO insights that are helping build and inform our AEO strategy"
5/5
What do you like best about Profound?

Profound has given us opened up a whole new world for us when looking at our AEO impact. We were previously flying blind and now we have easy to understand data and can pull actionable insights to see real change in our AI visibility. The platform is easy to navigate and has been seamless to integrate into our ecosystem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Profound?

There is a bit of a learning curve when you first get into the platform. It can be a little overwhelming to see the different metrics and figure out what they mean. They do have a university that I have found to be EXTREMELY useful in getting the most out of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
