Top Rated Prepr CMS Alternatives

Prepr CMS excels in making content management straightforward, especially for non-technical team members. The localization and segmentation features are outstanding, allowing us to easily display region-specific content. From a developer’s perspective, the GraphQL API and its intuitive playground are incredibly helpful for integration tasks. Additionally, their customer support team is proactive and even implemented small changes to improve compatibility with our systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main downside is the documentation, which can sometimes be lacking in practical examples and detailed use cases. This can make solving specific issues or exploring advanced functionalities a bit more time-consuming than it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The people that work there. Since we have a lot of data and technical complexity in our stack, we often ask Prepr to implement features from our large wishlist, or help us fix a problem that occurs. Especially the latter is super helpful to us. They are always stand-by to solve a problem, and friendly when doing so. Also, I think that Prepr is curious about how their customers use their CMS, in order to improve it - for example, they attended one of our user test days and took the results very seriously. Currently, the CMS is not as feature-rich as other CMS products, like Directus or Strapi. This could be a problem for bigger and technical complex projects. Also, it sometimes feels as if the fundamentals of the Prepr architecture are directing more towards a website publishing system than a "pure" headless CMS that is able to serve multiple platforms at once - for example by leaving out the separation of data and view in their model structure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prepr CMS is very easy to prepare/schedule content. As a team it's also helpful to assign content to another team member and to work with the different workflow stages. The filtering options help us to find content very easy. I also like the fact that you can make your own filters to find your content faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a bit difficult to schedule blogs or cases in the past. If you make a minor adjustment you will see today's date again and not the date in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prepr is constantly evolving. During the time we’ve been working with Prepr, numerous updates and improvements have been implemented. What sets them apart is their willingness to engage in meaningful conversations with us and their clients, genuinely listening to feedback and suggestions.
Communication with Prepr is seamless. They respond promptly, and the added benefit of being able to communicate in Dutch is a significant advantage—not only for us but also for our Dutch clients.
We’re very satisfied with the user interface of the application. It’s easy to set up, and our clients consistently mention how intuitive and straightforward it is to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, Prepr does not yet support the ability to display conditional fields based on previous input. In some situations, this means that unnecessary fields may need to be shown in the CMS, which can negatively impact the user experience.
Segmentation is a key feature of Prepr and works very well and intuitively overall. However, it is not yet possible to segment stack fields within a component. This limitation can occasionally lead to more cumbersome tasks for the development team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was easy to learn how to work with the prepr CMS. In 1-2-3 you have it in hand. Especially the AI-tool that helps with translating our proposing SEO support is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For now, it is not able to go to the back-end from the front-end. Sometimes when you just want to change a little word you need search the page in the back-end en the particular alinea. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good CMS program
Prepr is a fine, user-friendly program. After an explanation from a colleague who has used the program before, there is not much difficulty in it. The buttons are logically arranged. This is the ideal option for companies that work a lot with interns who also need to use the cms program.
Prepr is continuously improving and optimizing the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes something doesn't work, but this is almost never due to Prepr itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prepr CMS strikes a nice balance between offering tooling for developers and ease of use for potentially non-technical content editors. For developers it offers the ability to easily create rich schemas with configurable documentation for content editors, scoped access tokens, and an API explorer for configuring GraphQL queries. For content editors, it provides a clean UI that doesn't overwhelm users, robust media management, and clear workflows encouraging collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For non-technical users, Prepr CMS lacks some of the intuitiveness that can leave users frustrated. While the scheduling feature is functionally great, the act of scheduling something to be published can be confusing due to the overlap between the published status and the workflow status. With two-way associations between content items, only the parent => children relationship is shown. When viewing a child content item, it is unclear whether it has been associated with a parent. For example you can see all the Team Members on a Team but can’t see the Team that a Team Member belongs to by looking at the Team Member content item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At Get Interactive, what we like best about Prepr CMS is its exceptional simplicity and ease of use. From the start we noticed how intuitive the platform is, compared to traditional CMSs. The user interface is clear and logically arranged. Which makes a world of difference compared the most traditional CMSs. No unnecessarily complicated settings, just a sleek and functional design that allows us to focus on what really matters: delivering top quality to our clients.
The user-friendly interface and intuitive design make it easy for our team and our clients to create and manage content without unnecessary hurdles. This saves time and reduces the learning curve.
The powerful and unique features, such as 'Personalisation' solve the problem of delivering targeted content to diverse segments/audiences, significantly improving user engagement and satisfaction. Ensuring that our clients' websites provide a relevant and engaging experience for their visitors. And data-driven decision-making is another standout feature that keeps us and our clients ahead of the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything that my team or I particularly dislike about Prepr. Our overall experience with the Prepr platform and their Support team has been fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Prepr enables the seamless management of multiple platforms from one place, while simultaneously building them around the user based on their behavior in a very user-friendly manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, no preview function is available for editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a developer Prepr is easy to implement using the extensive documentation they provide. Creating schema's is very easy and when the client's requirements get complex, Prepr offers very helpful personal support answering all our questions and sometimes provide us with customized solutions to fit our needs. The segmentation functionality is something our clients are enthusiastic about when using it. The interface is very intuitive and our clients are very happy with the ease of use, especially the AI implementations. We now use Prepr for all of our future client requests. The only improvement I could think of right now, at the time of writing this review, is the lack of a visual editor functionality like some other competitors have implemented. This functionality is on the roadmap however, so this feedback might be disregarded on a later stage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
