The initial setup is painful for many reasons and the pain is downplayed at the start. Documentation is limited and provides little guidance on best practices. The documentation leaves you guessing and sometimes fumbling around just trying to get SOMETHING to work, never knowing if it is the best or easiest solution. In my experience with the Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform, I've found that it has many great features. It gives a lot of helpful information about the enterprise it is currently deployed for. It has a great UI and a ton of various methods to sort data which is great for analyzing multiple sectors within the organization. Plex is excellent for reviewing multiple departments regarding process flow. From Purchasing to Invoicing and everything in between.
