It's nice that PFL connects with both Salesforce.com and Marketo. I could easily manage 1:1 and 1:many sends in a coordinated effort within integrated campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team would have bennefited from more creative ideas of what's next in direct mail. We struggle to know how to mazimize the value of PFL. It would be great to bring back the Big Sky event for customers to learn from each other. Also, PFLs marketing campaigns help us to see possibilities. PFL makes sending direct mail super easy for Salesforce users. The tool is very simple and easy to use, and being able to give multiple teams access and a quarterly budget to do their own sends when they deem appropriate has been a great advantage. We were excited to use the Address Verification feature, but, unfortunately, the inability to update the address info once the email request has been sent made it unusable for us. Additionally, canceling an order is not as easy as it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the product integrates with Salesforce and allows us to automate our direct mail strategy. What was a full time job and a huge headache last year, was fully automated this year. We saved a lot of time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use TMA app for Salesforce CRM. For one off sends, it's a piece of cake. However it is a little clunky when it comes to automating sequential sends. It felt like we were jumping through hoops to set things up. We did have a use case that was probably more complicated than most.
There are also limitations with the SF object types that are supported with the app. For our use case, it would simplify things if we could send to Accounts as well as Contacts.
All that being said, our PFL team walked us through every step and resolved every problem. They helped us hit every deadline for critical mail. I would still not say that it is easy to use, but I do have full confidence that it will work and PFL will provide the support I need! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They have a hard time quoting costs. There were several times when they had to come back to us and let us know the cost was different/more than they initially thought because they didn't think through all the costs. We were hoping to use them for kitting some materials and sending out cool boxes to prospects but PFL's costs were 5x what it would have cost us to do it ourselves. When we first evaluated PFL, we were looking to unlock a new and more meaningful channel to deliver marketing touchpoints around the lifecycle. PFL enabled us to create more robust multi-channel campaigns and to deliver unique experiences for both prospects and customers with attention-grabbing direct mail items. Even better, through integration with our Salesforce instance, we're able to automate the sending of direct mail kits while being able to track recipient statuses and attribute direct mail efforts to pipeline. Lastly, our CSM (Andrew Ashley) has been a true rockstar through the course of our partnership, providing continuous hands-on support and always offering new ideas and methods for helping us uplevel our direct mail strategies. Nothing to dislike about PFL itself; support has been quick and helpful any time we've had issues in the past, the amount of direct mail ideas and items that PFL can source are endless, and our team has confidence that anytime a direct mail kit is triggered through a campaign that PFL is quick and reliable to get them shipped! However, direct mail has been a channel that has performed less than expected for us, but something that we continue to try to optimize and experiment with. In the year since we launched with PFL, our direct mail channel has scaled tremendously and PFL has been a crucial partner in supporting that growth. PFL tooling integrated seamlessly with Iterable and allowed our team to trigger high-volume campaigns with the touch of a button. The PFL team is available, proactive, knowledgeable and creative. Very little! Whenever there have been features that haven't worked for our unique channel strategy or with our existing tech stack, PFL has brought in solution architects to evolve their offering to better meet our needs. For example, they set up an integration with our project management system to automatically deliver mailer proofs to stakeholders to review for approval, and they have piped data directly into our data visualization dashboards to provide real-time visibility into mailer performance. I have had the pleasure of working with PFL over the past two years, and I cannot recommend them enough. Not only do they deliver high-quality printing materials, but they also offer invaluable guidance and support throughout the entire project. The PFL platform APIs campaign information back to our Salesforce CRM and easily allows to keep track of who has redeemed our direct mail kits to tie marketing attribution back.
