Padlet allows me to post my entire week on one platform. I use it to organize each subject I teach with all the links for the week. Also, when I have a substitute- students (in first grade) know how to pull Padlet up and operate the day. I can leave pics and videos on there, as well!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Padlet's features are perfect for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how padlet is fully customizable, and it's very intuitive and user friendly. I'm a big fan of the changes padlet recently rolled out and will likely use several of them. And, I know it's a small detail, but I love the little positive messages that pop up when you create a padlet. "Let's make something beautiful" and such - it really does make my day. We use virtual whiteboards in our synchronous and asynchronous executive training all the time, and I prefer padlet to any of the other similar products like google jamboard, etc. Participants who are not tech saavy still find it easy to use and not intimidating, which is very important. The only negative I can think of is that the new map function doesn't allow you to upload an image of a map that you created yourself. But that's a very minor detail and might not be something other clients are asking for. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
explicit and well-organized. a vairety of modules to cater to different teaching needs.
very helpful for students to show their performance task and exchange ideas. Also great for teachers to collect students' work and organize teachers' self-learning expereicne or reflection ror resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
soemtimes the colorful background wallpaper is to coloful to grab studnets' attention, instead of focusing on the tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Padlet provides me with a creative space to inspire students to reflect and share. The versatility of the platform makes it stand out for me. I can given students the freedom to express themselves via words, images or videos. They can leave responses to other students' posts. As well, i can easily embed my Padlets in my course Google Sites. Whenver I've had questions, I've contacted Padlet and gotten responses almost immediately, even on the weekend! Some students have a hard time posting directly in Google Sites when I embed the Padlet. So I need to always provide the option to click on a link that takes them to a new window. I also miss the old Timeline option with an actual line on the screen! It makes it really clear to students what the purpose is of the padlet. Please bring back this option! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use, continues to grow to meet user needs, tech support is extremely helpful and responds quickly. I adore the fun twists they put on the applications (like the greetings) , notices of new features, and on emails. We need more smiles like those that Padlet provides! Whenever I have a need for addtional help from a human being after trying to learn via a tutorial video, I can ask for to meet with someone to assist me. That is HUGE! There is nothing I dislke. It is constantly adding featires a nd streamlining current ones. It has grown signifcantly in the 4-5 years I have been using it in providing professional learning sessions with educators and families of youth being servied in our school system. It is my main go-to sharing app. THANK YOU!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Padlet allows me to ask my students all sorts of open ended questions and see their reactions in real time. No multiple choice required. Everything is customizable. There are options to anonymize or show authors depending upon whether you are trying to gauge participation or just get candid responses. Students can comment on one another and upvote, like, or even grade each other's posts. I have found so many ways to use Padlet from analyzing texts to collaborative problem solving to assessing prior knoweldge, even course evaluation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside of using Padlet is that you have a limited number of boards to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the live posting. I project the padlet in my classroom and have students do a check-in, or even a get-to-know you exercise on the first day of class. It helps get students out of their shell and have a platform that they feel comfortable talking on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't really think of anything yet. Maybe more teacher-related functions? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can share and have responses quickly and my class can see the progress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
everything is good. I like Padlet. There are only limited pages for free users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently i am delivering online masters class, and one of the best the communication dashboard that i am using is padlet. It allows you to edit what is published anytime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing i dislike about padlet app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how Padlet has different templates to create a virtual organizer that is specific for the task. We all have our favorites and lean towards those. However, with the new templates, I know I can create better organizers that are specific to a purpose instead of using just one Padlet. Thank you for creating templates and examples. Some of us need that "push" to create something that is better suited to a project and has the flexibility to make it more understandable when you want a specific kind of collaboration. As an educator, I would like a place where a person's name is required to be on a post or a comment. It would be great if this feature could be turned on or off. I normally like to know who is the author, but sometimes anonymous is better. If you could develop this as a feature, that would be great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
