Their support is so bad! I had to tell one of the techs how to upload an image for example. I was told it couldn't be done! Had multiple disconnects going on and no one seemed to want to help troubleshoot. Asked certain questions hoping to be shown and just got support links sent to follow steps. Firewall in place sucks. I have only had dedicated bare metal servers from OVH and the servers have always been delivered in a very short and expected time frame. Every thing works great so long you do not experience any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support is just not there. one of my servers suffered severe performance lag. I hired 3 experts to look at it and none of them was able to diagnose or find anything.

After 2 months passed with a struggling server, many many hours were spent researching other providers and other solutions and in the way lost several clients. I got an alert email from the temperature monitoring system saying the CPU is running hot and the colling system had failed. When that happened the support was totally on it. Scheduled an intervention within a few hours, and replaced the faulty hardware. And magically the server's performance was immediately back to normal. However, it took 2 months of running with a broken colling system for the temperature monitoring to send an alert.

That is very alarming. OVH completely ignored my requests for reimbursement or compensation. they simply did not answer or acknowledge any of it happening.

I am moving away from OVH to WPMUDEV and that has been a day and night difference in terms of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most is the price, because it is one of the most economical options on the market. However, with such a low price, you sacrifice other things that are also important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For me, the worst part is the lack of support they have. In the face of any problem, you must have your own development team, because OVH support won't solve anything for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In OVH we do have solutions for starting with our own VPS, and we can grow it as we need it! We're now planning on acquiring another VPS with 16 GB RAM and in 6 months (depending on Traffic we can upgrade it to 32GB RAM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the beginning, the OVH Control Panel may be a little confusing but that's because they have a LOT of different Products (and that's a good thing) with time you get used to it and you'll find it's easier than it looks like! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OVHcloud gives us reliable service and excellent customer support for our IaaS requirements. Its billing model is affordable and follows a pay-as-you-go plan which gives us the convenience to pay only for the resources we use. Its web console is easy to use and has extended functionalities such as IP config persistence, failover management, managed private repository, disaster recovery plans for data centers and Big data solutions for enterprises. VPS backup feature is currently unavailable in OVHcloud. Inclusion of this will help us by reducing the overhead of taking its backup responsibilities which is quite tedious. Also, we need to secure our VPS as there is no security configuration by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Server Performance was great after getting everything set up. Too bad it took far longer than expected.

It took 4+ days to get Windows server installed once I purchased the server. After reading other reviews, it seems this delay is fairly common which is ridiculous. They would not give compensation for the lost days of hosting and development.

Support is absolute trash. Absolutely no help or correct answers.

First example:

I was assured they were not blocking any ports on the server end, so after 4+ hours of investigating it on the Windows side, I find out there's a firewall tab 5 clicks deep in OVH's server menu that blocks many ports by default. Waste of time just like the rest of the process.

After canceling my server, I missed that I also needed to cancel my windows server license separately. The day it was renewed I contacted support, but they refused to give me a refund. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
