Any obstacles takes weeks too solve. **What problems is OVHcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** There offer for web solutions like domain registrion and all the different endings is really good, the price for that good. But it is backed with a very bad support. This goes for webhosting like wordpress too. Really good prices but i you have problems.. you are in the blue. I couldn't even figure out why my services were canceled when they weren't due yet. I also couldn't locate a billing section to check for any outstanding payments. The whole system feels completely disorganized. Secondly, the price of the monthly hosting plan was exaggerated compared to other companies providing the same service while getting very little performance. Thirdly and most importantly, I was on an annual plan whose price was 107 dollars, knowing that the bill was coming to me for 127 dollars at the time. I did not know how that happened. Every thing works great so long you do not experience any issues. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** The support is just not there. one of my servers suffered severe performance lag. I hired 3 experts to look at it and none of them was able to diagnose or find anything. After 2 months passed with a struggling server, many many hours were spent researching other providers and other solutions and in the way lost several clients. I got an alert email from the temperature monitoring system saying the CPU is running hot and the colling system had failed. When that happened the support was totally on it. Scheduled an intervention within a few hours, and replaced the faulty hardware. And magically the server's performance was immediately back to normal. However, it took 2 months of running with a broken colling system for the temperature monitoring to send an alert. That is very alarming. OVH completely ignored my requests for reimbursement or compensation. they simply did not answer or acknowledge any of it happening. I am moving away from OVH to WPMUDEV and that has been a day and night difference in terms of support. **Recommendations to others considering OVHcloud:** If you are not, a SysAdmin, comfortable setting up servers, OS and Networks, then stay away. **What problems is OVHcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** OVH products are offered at a fairly competitive price especially when you commit to a year or longer. ### 16. Its billing model is affordable and follows a pay-as-you-go plan which gives us the convenience to pay only for the resources we use. Its web console is easy to use and has extended functionalities such as IP config persistence, failover management, managed private repository, disaster recovery plans for data centers and Big data solutions for enterprises. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** VPS backup feature is currently unavailable in OVHcloud. Inclusion of this will help us by reducing the overhead of taking its backup responsibilities which is quite tedious. Also, we need to secure our VPS as there is no security configuration by default. **What problems is OVHcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We require 99.9% SLA across our VPS ranges and OVHcloud is excellent for its compliance. We can simply log in to our VPS via SSH using Putty for connecting with our instances. It can also be partitioned and organized in such a way that it best suits our dependencies. Using OVHCloud API, we can retrieve backup data from any external IP outside our service as long as it's linked to our customer account. ### 19. Too bad it took far longer than expected. Pricing is good. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** It took 4+ days to get Windows server installed once I purchased the server. After reading other reviews, it seems this delay is fairly common which is ridiculous. They would not give compensation for the lost days of hosting and development. Support is absolute trash. Absolutely no help or correct answers. First example: I was assured they were not blocking any ports on the server end, so after 4+ hours of investigating it on the Windows side, I find out there's a firewall tab 5 clicks deep in OVH's server menu that blocks many ports by default. Waste of time just like the rest of the process. After canceling my server, I missed that I also needed to cancel my windows server license separately. They have highly scalable PMPs across a wide variety of categories that can be utilized to align with whatever your campaign goal may be. **What problems is OVHcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** OVH have good performances on medium-size publishers too. Second, because I never had troubles with the district: technical trouble, out of service trouble or malware trouble. Last but not least, I never had financial issues with the district too. I mean that several SSP pays strongly in late, some others have regular technical issues with European wire transfers (and so I need to involve my bank which is time consuming). This was the worst hosting experience ever. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** Stood up a new VPS with this company based on turn up time, not prior reviews for a small local pool company. Within 10 minutes of the server being active, I begin to receive notices that the box has been compromised. At this point, we've yet to even log into it. So, the password provided and created by OVH was compromised. We reset the instance, reinstalled, and we set a 32 character password: Within 10 minutes - here we go again with the box being compromised. After hours and hours of going through server logs and working with their less than helpfull support, I found nothing. Nothing at all. No Malware, No RootKit, No Virus, No access logs, nothing. Nothing at all. This goes on for months and months. Finally had enough when they began to shut the server off on their own. When I complained about that, they started adding random firewall rules to block traffic, and then blames us. Finally fed up, and threatened to take it to social media - they send us a disconnect notice. We've ordered several servers in Frankfurt with a delivery time of 72h. After about a week of ordering, we still didn't receive any server or communication from OVH so we decided to reach out. After going back and forth and begging for an ETA, we received the following response: "The server might be ready at the end of the month." (while we're only 12 days in the month). Nothing else. I understand that there's a global hardware shortage and that certain parts are difficult to get. What I don't understand is why their website claims delivery times that are flat-out lies. We were planning on doing a mass migration to OVH from a previous provided but the experience has been dreadful so far. Then I did about a week of software development. Then I tried uploading my work to my Google Drive. They DELETED THE SERVER WITHOUT WARNING. No backup, no notice, nothing. Then I tried to contact customer service. There is no way to phone, chat or email. Online tickets only. NO RESPONSE FOR OVER 24 HOURS. Then the same crap about 'violation of terms of service' - to use Google DRive! I explained then the next day; they replied, "Our billing team has reviewed your refund request, and we regret to inform you that you are not eligible for a refund." Their stupid server is not workings, and now they don't refund for it too. Ticketing system that makes you go through a dozen questions that are of no use before you can create a ticket. 5. Ticket is unanswered for 24, to 48 hrs. 6. The answers, were not useful. Nothing helped me actually get Cpanel working, and instead of setting me up with a root password... i was given command line instructions on how to do it? Heres a tip. Just give me the god damn access... not some set of instructions, none of which have worked to date... days after I requested them. 7. On cancellation, you don't pay for what is used, you pay for what youve paid. No refunds. So I had paid a month in advance, it didn't work, i left, i lose that money. Thank god i didn't pay a year in advance. I moved to Digital Ocean, I was literally up and running in minutes. OVH Cloud for better support to the necessary housing enterprises. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Samuel R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2020 **What do you like best about OVHcloud?** It offers OVH hosting and numerous Internet solutions, whether for compatibility or unauthorized access, provides its mediation to get rid of these inconveniences with high availability for research servers, this charming management of customer service or the software buyer allows you to support your priority needs regarding hosting, whether dedicated or shared servers, but excludes its new content interface and luxurious appearance that it emits at first glance. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** It is not recommended for large companies with high digital performance on their executive servers, because in recent years it has drastically decreased due to its low trust ratio that this workaround software issues, its customer service is a shame, as it does not work well in relation to the fact that it does not respond to light solutions as it claims to have, if you have a company and your work depends on OVH, it is not convenient to use a server with them. **Recommendations to others considering OVHcloud:** It is recommended due to the functions of hosting several private sites, downloading into the main system database each use by all users who use this software, allowing your small category company to specify its daily formalities in the system site, storing most of the necessary data for the emergence of digital businesses, the interface of this system makes all the work easy and effective. **What problems is OVHcloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** In our establishment of different customer support systems with client links to companies, we use OVH Cloud as a tertiary for its intermediary function, but we use it for our convenience as shared server accommodations for different organizations or directly in ours, including Domain names of those who exercise it from any part of their connection, with privacy of who they are, integrable CMS, and among other fundamental functions. ### 50. There is really nothing else to like in my opinion. **What do you dislike about OVHcloud?** When something breaks (server down) there is no actual support just people on the phone telling you that things will be get fixed but even after 3 days of numerous tickets and phone to support the tickets are unanswered and the server is unreachable ... absolutely unprofessional.
