What we like about OptiSigns is the ease of use and setup compared to other options. It has a friendly user interface and lots of documentation explaining what everything does. The onboarding season was great as was an opportunity for us to discuss our business prospects and what we want to achieve with OptiSigns. The amount of app integrations is great an there are more than enough options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There have been a few minor things but nothing major. Some minor things are to do with some of the apps like google traffic that we use which sometimes gets stuck with the google sign in and sometimes the YouTube app doesn't auto play but aside from that everything else has been working fine. What I like best is how easy the installation and set-up are. I'm able to plug in the device at the back of the TV, and as long as you have an account, you're basically all set to go. Also, the internal screen design programming is super helpful for people with no graphic design experience and makes adding additional content super easy. We are frequently receiving more requests for this device as other departments see people using them all over campus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managing the different types of users was one of the big issues we ran into initially. Figuring out how teams and admins work as well as how to use the unassigned team were a bit complicated. And who has access to move people from different groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Optisigns has made sharing company info so much easier, and faster with very little effort. The use of the provided templates and the ability to change the templates is just awesome. The installation was a snap, all you have to do is plug it in and your on your way to making great screens. I love this so much that I find myself constantly wanting to create new screens everyday. The only thing I wish Optisigns would improve on is the addition of more Object Animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OptiSign is easy to navigate, can be personalized as little or as much as desired, and offers great customer service and trainings for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our school is new to OptiSign, so I don't have a ton of experience at this time, but so far, I have yet to find any downfalls to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thin client for organizing and adjusting the screens and their playlists is easy and intuative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The initial set up doesn't always work as intented or advertized. Some fobs will automatically align with the phone app and get moving immediately, while others will require you to do a round about process of connecting them after removing them from your inventory. The web interface makes uploading your images or videos very easy. Creating the playlists and moving them between displays as needed is also extremely useful. The capability to schedule usage of the displays is also a big plus to help extend the life of the displays so they are not on 24/7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is tricky when a display drops off of the network for any reason because the remotes also sometimes unsync and since I have multiple displays within a room it can sometimes sync to the wrong display. This makes it harder to get back on the network and may require using the app instead of the remote. I also think having a phone number to call for tech support when you have tried what you can would be helpful. Currently it seems I have to use the chat first then send a message for support. Sometimes when my store has a rush of customers I do not have time to sit and chat on my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OptiSigns allows us to remotely manage our employee engagement signage pretty easily. I like that it handles playlist nesting with multiple levels of permissions well, so IT can allow other departments limited access to load their own content without any assistance. Deployment was straight-forward and painless. We use their OptiSigns Pro player, and so far it's been working great and handles our PowerBi reports just fine. Compared to the competitors I checked out, I felt that OptiSigns was either easier to use, allowed more granular permissions/control, and/or had better pricing than any of the other big players. I mainly compared them to Yodeck, and while Yodeck seems pretty good, I felt that our non-technical users would have a much easier time working with OptiSigns, and with Yodeck, PowerBi only works on approved Yodeck players, and I don't trust PowerBi to run reliably well on a Fire Stick or a low-end RaspberyPi in the long run. Although I found OptiSigns easier to use than their competitors, I think there is still room for quality-of-life improvements in the UI for the web portal. We also had some small issues with our OptiSigns Pro devices; however, I didn't realize that what we ordered was a new version that had just come out and we were among the first to use these new devices, and support so far has been pretty decent so far. It's simple and user friendly. If you've ever used Canva for any sort of design, using Optisigns is an easy transition. It's clean, intuitive, and had premade templates if you're not a graphic designer. The data mapping option is especially useful since we have rates that change every now and then. It also still projects the assests even if you're not consistently connected to the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You would have to work with your IT to whitelist it from the wifi, especially if you have a restrictive firewall. I wish it gave you hints that that is likely the issue because it can just seem that the product is defective when it's really your connection. Also, if your devices is offline, the transitions are really choppy and have a lot of black screen time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of setup and player deployment
Native support for Office365 product integrations
Content editor and scheduler is easy to use, intuitive
I reached out to support and sales teams, both teams responded very quickly and were immensely helpful in picking the right product for my implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see expanded control functionality made available, when triggering content via a webhook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

OptiSigns has allowed up to update communications to our team members very quickly. We are able to send out updates on over 10 monitors as needed very quickly. We can update our monitors as offten or we would like sometimes it multiple times per day. Having built in templates has also been a help to us. We tend to display messages and the weather at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say that the thing that has been troublesome for me was the learning curve. However, we have had good experience with customer support. I would say the dislike would be just that it has so many features it has taken time to learn how to use them to my full benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
