**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I find OptiSigns very easy to use, and I love that there are a lot of great templates available. These templates make it simple to just drop in information depending on what kind of announcement we need, like holiday closures or upcoming events. It's nice that some templates come with motion to make them eye-catching without extra effort. The ability to upload our own assets is fantastic as well, allowing us to add pre-made flyers to the playlist and quickly update the screen. Additionally, setting up OptiSigns was easy with the dongle that simply plugs into the TV, making it straightforward to add locations to our online profile.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

Recently, I had to try to use a hotspot Wi-Fi to upload a new playlist because the in-house Wi-Fi was malfunctioning. It takes longer without properly conveying what you are trying to do is downloading, so you're unsure that it's not working or it's not going through. I do wish that there was some way to let you know that the file is uploading so that you don't just think it's not working.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I easily update signage remotely using OptiSigns, eliminating delays and avoiding paper waste while ensuring direct communication with staff, clients, and visitors.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

Ease of use is a big plus. The integration with Canva makes creating and uploading content simple. The player can handle all types of media and delivers them at a consistent speed. I didn’t receive onboarding, but the software has been straightforward to use, and the AI chat helps answer any questions I have.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I wish there were an easily accessible training/education section with modules. I remember doing some reading when I first started using the software, but after the site update I lost track of where that information might have been.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a main office as well as satellite locations that are lightly staffed at times and have varying hours. OptiSigns helps us quickly and easily share relevant updates with both our customers and our staff across all locations.

  ### 3. Organized and Fast Updates, but the Editor and IT Connection Need Work

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I like how organized you can be on Optisigns. I have hundreds of TVs, and I can easily get to each one I need and edit them as I need. I like that you can upload or design on the software. I like the add-ons, like weather, time, and news. Once you get started and have everything set up, it is easy to maintain and edit. The price is great. We integrate this without our IT department and their guidelines. I like that you make an edit, and it takes no time to show up on the screen.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The visual view of editing on OptiSigns isn't great. The design aspects are not great. I feel like designs have to be simple, and it is easier to upload my design. The connection between Optisigns and IT breaks more than I would like.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I really enjoy how simple it is to create playlists for different visuals on the shop floor. Whether it’s basic slides or integrated web logins, it works perfectly for sharing information with the team.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

Some web-based platforms, such as Power BI, require a bit of fine-tuning when it comes to applying filters to the source material. That may be more of a Power BI issue, but once everything is dialed in, the platform works great.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used OptiSigns for two main purposes. First, I display informational slides such as safety bulletins, company news and events, and employee announcements. Second, I use it for shop-floor tools, including real-time scheduling displays and overhead dock/yard management screens for the teams working on the docks.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

OptiSigns are easy to use. There is so much versatility in the layout and design options, we can use our screens however we want. I like that there are options to create my own designs and import them, or I can build a design within the OptiSigns website.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I think the screen organization tools aren't as intuitive as I'd like. I had trouble finding where my screens were saved and had to go back and forth a few times with support to get it resolved.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to publish information to the breakroom TVs across three states. Being able to broadcast important information to our teams without much headache is a huge win!

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to create and incorporate different modules into our digital signage schedule. Scheduling is another big plus for OptiSigns as well. Creating and rolling out different schedules across multiple screens feels straightforward, efficient, and easy to manage. We were able to integrate OptiSigns with our Resi livestream to broadcast our feed across all of our screens and then hop back to a slideshow, all without ever having to mess with video inputs. 

The web interface is also quick and responsive. I am able to make a change and then instantly check to see if my change is making it to my screens. 


Overall, I appreciate what OptiSigns offers and it integrates smoothly into my existing workflow. Great product!

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I think the pricing could be improved. The per-screen pricing can feel pretty restricting, especially for a smaller operation. That said, offering a free plan (even with watermarks) is a stand-up gesture.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem OptiSigns solves for me is letting me switch from a rotating slideshow to a live camera feed from our worship center, without needing a volunteer to manage the change. Setting it up was simple, and scheduling it with the built-in scheduler was straightforward.

This alone is worth the cost for us. Allowing different schedules for different screens is also a big plus.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

I love the interface - so easy to use! I also enjoy the HOST of ways I can use your product! I can schedule screens to turn off and turn on at a certain time and even schedule certain media to play in various locations at a given time. MAC application is amazing as I was able to take an old Mac Mini I had laying around and deploy it as well rather than purchasing another signage stick. Well done!

Coming from AbleSign, I'm a little upset with the sticker shock of the product. I'm not sure I can commit longterm to the tool given my budget, but truly love the MANY ways you can use it.

I love putting the many screens we have around church campus to use throughout the week depending on what's going on in the building at a given time.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

Very user friendly and easy to use, we were able to integrate our reporting software into it.  When we had our onboarding call, the team member was very helpful and gave us some tips to utilize it better.  So far the performance of it has been top tear.  the pricing is a little high for my liking but it was the most reasonably priced in comparison to other companies.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The price per item is a little high, it does have some limitations on what it can show on the screen or how the screen can be formatted but overall a good system

We wanted our teams/departments to be able to see data on their performance in real time to help them strive more to meet their goals, with this we were able to provide that to them

  ### 9. Easy cloud uploads and simple remote device management with Optisign

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

Optisign is great for cloud uploading. I really like that we can set up a device and then manage everything else online. The user interface is also very simple, which makes it easy for just about anyone to use. Inviting multiple people is straightforward too—whether that’s by setting a temporary password for them or simply sending an invite link, it’s a neat and convenient option. i also really like the amount of templates we can use, theres lots of customization and features.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I didn’t like how we were kind of misled about the product. We wanted to mirror the same content on TVs that are far apart, and we were told the Pro Player would be the best option for that since it can handle up to three screens. What we weren’t told was that, to actually use the other two screens, we would need to purchase another subscription called the Video Wall. That feels strange, because we already purchased the Pro Player with three HDMI ports included, yet we can’t use them without an additional subscription on top of the subscription we’re already paying per device. i even asked for a trial to see if the video wall would allow us to use the other two ports and it still did not work.  luckily we were able to use an HDMI splitter to bypass the video wall subscription or else we probably would've returned it.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optisign support has been really helpful. We asked for a refund after an accidental purchase, and they processed it with no problem. We also requested a trial when one wasn’t available, and they were able to provide one without any issues.

Optisign also seems to be continuing to improve. One example is adding AI features that let people create and generate their own content.

We use our Optisigns in multiple areas throughout our building, and they run 24/7 without any issues so far.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

OptiSigns is most helpful for how quick and flexible it is to update content across multiple screens. We can make changes centrally and push them live almost instantly, which is ideal for promotions, seasonal messaging and last minute updates. The layout options are simple to use, scheduling is straightforward and it saves a lot of time compared to manually updating screens in branch. Overall it keeps our in store comms consistent and up to date with very little effort.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

There can be a slight learning curve when first setting everything up, especially when exploring more advanced features, but once you’re familiar with the platform it’s very straightforward to use.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OptiSigns solves the problem of having to manually update content at each individual branch. With six branches, some with multiple screens, being able to manage everything centrally saves a huge amount of time and reduces the risk of outdated or inconsistent messaging. It allows us to roll out promotions and updates quickly and ensures all branches are showing the correct content at the same time.

I like that I can edit the dashboards online. I mostly use the embed plugin, and it works well for what I need.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I wish there were more integrations available. I end up embedding a lot, and while that works, it would be much easier if more partners were integrated.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use dashboards to display data. While our users already have access to the underlying information, we also highlight key metrics on signs throughout the office for each department. This has helped a ton in keeping everyone on track and aligned with what matters most.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

Optisigns works well and has been very consistent for us. We’ve been using it to display training PowerPoints in high-traffic areas, so people can review them as they walk from one area to another. The integrations with apps like YouTube and the weather are also a nice touch.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

We have two displays next to each other with one set of speakers, when we push content to both screens at the same time, they can be a second or two out of sync.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to show content in high up areas remotely.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

Half the cost of ScreenCloud and  somewhat close to good for what I use it for at church.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

It lacks the ability to add a group of images to a play list without having to checkbox each image. Should be able to select the first/top image, hold Shift and select the last/bottom image to select all (at once) then drag and drop them into the playlist,  not unlike Windows functionality.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to display the weekly bulletin on the Welcome Center TV at church. I'm able to update the slides each week from home and Push it to the screen(s) which works very well.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

It’s easy to release the content and push it to the digital screen, but the content often gets stuck and the system is frequently glitchy so I need to rese the playlist.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

Currently I’m having an issue where one slide is stuck in my playlist. Sometimes the screen also turns sideways for no apparent reason, so I have to reset the whole system.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that I can send any content immediately to the screens so my guests can review hotel happenings or menus.

Easy to arrange and organize for different times/dates. Can pre-arrange to "set it and forget it".

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I wish there was a direct connection to Google Drive to allow individuals to submit artifacts and automatically be included into the OptiSigns system. This way, it would allow greater collaborative efforts in ensuring the most current items are being projected.

Being able to engage our community in a way that other signs often get overlooked sharing the same material.

Ease of use.   Creative templates.   Hardware is perfect for the performance needed with no lag.   Pricing is in line with expectations.   Support has been good when needed.

No real dislike.   I cannot find a use for integrations or AI in the platform

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

The HDMI Sticks are very straightforward to set up. We were able to implement them simply by plugging them in and they worked right away. When you update a playlist, it restarts from the beginning and the changes are applied instantly in real time. There are numerous options available for developers, and many of these features have been made user-friendly. Additionally, customer support has been extremely helpful and responds quickly.

We use it in all of our buildings and multiple rooms which we run all the time.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

The connection with SharePoint was honestly just disappointing. OptiSigns isn't able to reach our sharepoint site.
Which caused a lot of problems to get the news feed from there into a playlist which eventually led to a work around.
Menus are rather slow and could use some improvement.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a big ProWise screen which was unable to download the OptiSigns app.
Within a few hours, we had an insightful and big response and managed to get it working.

It is very user friendly. There's a minor learning curve the very first time you use it, but it is very easy to get the hang of.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

When changing the timespan for different images or video elements, there's a bit of an updating delay. So sometimes if you have moved on to adjust the time of another clip, your changes don't get saved. Then you have to redo it and give a pause each time.

I'm not sure I'd say it is solving a "problem", but it is making it very easy for us to update our slideshow as we cycle through new events.

It is pretty intuitive, and I like the ability to pull directly from a Google Drive. It is easy to manipulate and display things on vertically oriented tvs.

It is really expensive for the service. We definitely under utilize the software and is able to do way more than what we need, which is nice, however we don't need the extras. So for the minimal use we need, it is an expensive premium. A lower cost, limited access, budget option would be nice and we would personally really benefit from it.

The ability to display the same grphics on multiple devices at once without having to manually upload and change graphics constantly. Saves me a lot of time weekly to go into one drive folder, change the graphics, turn on the tvs, and move on to the next piece of setup.

I think there is some bugs sometimes, for example when you connect some google calendar, the info are not update on screen.

I use optisign in 2 screens and since a few days one of them don't work even when I push the same ressource. It used to work on this screen so I don't get it. Also, when we want to push a ressource such as a calendar, the event are not accurate and updated well. I don't know where and how to search help

I appreciate the simplicity of the platform. Uploading the menu is straightforward, and the uploads are completed quickly.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I’m not sure if it’s just me not having taken the time to learn everything, but I sometimes find the system difficult to navigate. I haven’t figured out how to use the scheduling feature yet. We aren’t using it at the moment, but it would be helpful to have that option in the future. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints. Everything else works very smoothly.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optisigns has solved our daily menu screen needs. We upload about six menus every day above our kitchen lines, all within the same restaurant. Currently, we create the menus in Canva, download them, and then upload them to the screens using Optisigns. Previously, we used a different program for this process, but it was very slow and required many more steps before the menus were finally uploaded. Optisigns has definitely saved us time. I also taught my colleague how to use it, and it was very easy for them to learn.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

The variety of features and Apps as well as the flexibility of instalment, especially not having to use an OptiSign player by directly installing the software on our Samsung Signage Displays. These Players are sometimes a bottleneck, as our displays are installed in various spots, that are often difficult to reach, so there's one reason less, to make the hassle of getting at the back of them just to look if the player is fully plugged in.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

I mostly dislike two things. One is more obvious, the other one a bit special:

1. Not being able to only give users access to selected displays. We use many displays as menu boards at our concession stands. Our POS Registers run on Windows, so I would love to just give them the option to open chrome, log in to OptiSign and control display above them. They should only be able to switch between our menu board playlist and the “Currently Closed” Asset.

2. A MovieDB Integration would be wonderful to directly source poster assets and other marketing material, but that's only relevant for cinemas, so this won't be a disadvantage for most users.

We have had the slides freeze or the app fail, requiring an Apple TV reboot. We wanted a solution that was hands off and automated, but this requires occasional hands on to work properly.

This is a wonderful, low-expense option to adding quality content to display on a TV. There are a ton of features and lots of clean and useful templates. I work at a university with a fairly complex networking infrastructure, so it took a little more work on the set up side than if I was using this at a small business. All the issues I encountered with the set up had to do with our own policies and complicated wifi configurations. But once I navigated that, the thing worked perfectly. I especially like the number of free templates that give you solid launching pads for your own designs.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

Most of the valuable content is locked behind a subscription paywall. While I understand that people need to earn a living, the $20 per month fee seems a bit steep to me. On top of that, although the device itself is very powerful and offers a lot of capabilities, the way our university has set up Two-Factor Authentication means that the main apps I wanted to use aren't accessible. This issue is due to our university's system, not OptiSigns.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our goal was to have our ticketing system for our IT group show up. OptiSigns has an app module that would work for Atlassian, however, due to our internal authentication rules, we aren't able to access our login. So our initial need is not going to be solved. However, many of the free features we are excited to use when the TV we are using for signage, doesn't have to show our ticket data. I'm very excited for the World Cup and the News stories that can be shown in the free templates.

**What do you like best about OptiSigns?**

The Engage features make it easy to quickly get started with applications such as kiosks. The support team is very fast and helpful, and the platform offers an appealing and user-friendly interface.Implementing the software, such as connecting it to displays, is very easy. This makes it very easy to integrate into existing AV and media-technology setups. Even for usage every two months, it works very well. Adding and removing screens is simple, and the pricing is also based on this flexibility.

**What do you dislike about OptiSigns?**

What I don’t like as much is that the Kiosk Lite application offers limited customization options, such as configuring button link targets or adjusting the behavior of the Optisigns browser. Additionally, its loading times are sometimes longer compared to competing solutions.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I liked that it’s possible to quickly set up MVPs or ad-hoc kiosk projects without having to spend a lot of time on the setup.

A great communication tool to have, we show everything on our screens, from our global policies, our safety updates and even birthday messages.

The only real drawback is that I have no way of knowing if people are actually viewing them. To address this, I’m putting together a competition slide for the new year, where I’ll pose a question and track how many people respond. I’m hoping this will give me some indication of engagement.

We can put certain slides up which will help us to show we are serious about subjects, like safety or the environment.

I like the options to personalize assets and screens, and the different types of media we can use. It's generally very easy to set up, although there are a lot of features that were not immediately obvious, so I had to do some exploring to learn more and utilize the full offerings. We use this daily for our weekly update slideshow as well as our office screen to share schedules, weather, time, and general calendars.

There were issues linking Google accounts for the Google Slides widget. I had trouble logging in, so I ended up needing to download the presentation and upload it as an asset instead of linking directly to google

OptiSigns is super easy to set up and manage, even if you’re not super technical. I really like how fast it updates screens and how flexible the layout options are. The ability to schedule different content and manage multiple displays remotely is a huge time saver. It feels reliable and polished overall.

Sometimes the interface feels a little clunky when managing a lot of screens at once, and a few features could be more intuitive. The mobile app could use a smoother design too. It’s not deal-breaking stuff, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially for larger teams that need to update content often.

**What problems is OptiSigns solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OptiSigns helps me keep all our displays updated without having to manually plug in or change content on-site. It makes it super easy to manage different screens in different locations from one dashboard, which saves a ton of time. It’s also great for scheduling content and keeping everything consistent and on-brand. Overall, it’s made our signage feel more professional and way easier to manage day to day.

It's a little confusing and you can't see the future scheduling of the screens. I wish it was a simpler process to schedule things and it doesn't default to going live today. It's slightly annoying when it does this.
