OpenEye's object detection and recognition technology which uses advanced algorithms to analyze and interpret visual data is great. Their AI products are generally well-regarded for their accuracy and efficiency in tasks such as image classification, object detection, and facial recognition. Easy to use and an intuitive GUI. Adding cameras to the system is quick and easy and doesn't require too much knowledge other than the IP and sign-on info. Good features for the price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OWS has some significant downsides, however. PTZ control and use is sporadic and can be troublesome even when using OpenEye cameras.
They also charge per imager on a camera instead of per IP address. Most if not all other providers charge by IP. So with OpenEye, a four-imager camera requires four separate licenses. This is a significant cost increase over other providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
