I love the way it integrates and helps me remember the items that are pressing.
I use it to input data about 3 times a week just to get the ease of the reminders.
The software is intuitive and the implementation into my environment had almost nonexistent set up for me. The Customer support team is always willing to help with any problems i have too.
I also thinks it has a good host of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides are the fact that i feel like it can have a pretty steep learning curve. The system has so many things to do, that it can be overwhelming for someone that isn't ambitious enough to use it.
Otherwise, sometimes the system can be clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We’ve been using Nutshell as our CRM for years, and while no system is ever exactly what you need, Nutshell comes pretty close. Here’s what we love – and where we think there’s room for improvement.
✅ What We Like:
- Pipeline Management – Keeps our sales process streamlined and easy to track.
- Automation – Saves us time and ensures no lead falls through the cracks.
- Constant Updates – Nutshell keeps evolving with new features, showing they listen to users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
❌ What Could Be Better:
- A few features and options that would benefit us aren’t available yet.
- Like any CRM, it’s tough to find one that fits every need perfectly.
- Reporting is good but it takes a while to get used to how it works, we would like some options to have cards as reports!
That said, Nutshell is always improving, and we’re hopeful that, in time, it’ll become our all-in-one solution! We use it every single day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The non profit I work for uses this software to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep movig forward! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The hard part of Nutshell is the same as any tech related thing. You have to figure out the different features. Nutshell provides support and trainings that give you an overview of how to use it as well as updated trainings when a new feature is added. So, once you learn the new feature, you are able to integrate it into making your job easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found out about Nutshell by posting a question on LinkedIn, "LinkedIn friends, what is the best CRM you've used? (please do not include SalesForce)." I had people respond with many platforms I was somewhat familiar with but one of my industry friends said he uses Nutshell and has for years. I reviewed their website and set up a call with Jared Knotts and learned more about the platform and its functionality. The platform is easy to maneuver and cost-effective for what I get with the monthly subscription. What I love most about Nutshell is the INCREDIBLE customer service. With my subscription, I'm able to upload an excel document with leads, current customers, contacts and their customer service team formats the headers correctly and uploads the leads for me. I've also had a slew of questions and receive responses immediately, which is very helpful. I'm very happy with the platform and recommend it to any company looking for a new CRM option. The only thing I dislike about the platform is there is not a way for me to just have leads and customers. When a lead is uploaded into the system, it's also a "company" which I don't like. With this said, I think there is a way to tag the "Companies" as with a lead or customer. I'm working on getting an answer to that question. This is the only complaint I have. The scalibility of Nutshell is most helpful to me as a small business owner. I can add verious modules and services as my business grows and needs more capabilities. I don't need to pay for things I don't need at the outset. Since being a subscriber, I have upgraded to Nutshell Busines, added campaigns, and added visitor IQ. These services were upgraded or added as it made sense for my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least about Nutshell is the feeling that current customers do not get as much priority as they did before they were customers. Getting a call with someone in Sales is impossible if you're already a customer. Also simply talking to someone about challanges with the system is difficult too. I understand that digital channels (email or chat) are less expensive but as a customer, I don't want to be managed down to most lowcost methods of providing service to me as an existing customer. It's kinda like dating versus marriage. You can win me as we date but you have to continue to date me during the marriage if you want it to last. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WeI use Nutshell to identify, cultivate, and close deals with investors, having raised over $25M since using it. What I like best about Nutshell is how intuitively it helps me manage relationships with investors and collaborators, and how easy to use it is and easy to teach new users. Its straightforward interface makes tracking conversations, organizing tasks, and monitoring deal progress seamless. The robust reporting tools allow me to stay on top of fundraising efforts and ensure that no opportunity falls through the cracks, and it integrates with the tools we use. It's not quite as full-featured as Salesforce in terms of integrations, but it is less expensive and WAY easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After trying many CRMs and failing to get traction with our team, we found Nutshell CRM to be a great fit. They provide all the core features to run a successful sales team, with a straightforward and effective UI, without all of the unnecessary clicks and clutter found in many CRMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nutshell makes using CRM so simple and effective, it adapts well to different sales processes. If you have a defined sales process, this is going to work well for you. If you need the CRM to help you shape your sales process by giving guardrails, Nutshell may present some struggles as it is quite flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate how Nutshell simplifies a complicated sales process for both beginners and experienced sales representatives. Unlike larger, more cumbersome CRMs on the market, Nutshell features an intuitive drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to move tasks around. Integrating into our phone system was a breeze!
For me, sending emails or templated emails from within Nutshell has saved so much time from using a 3rd party email program and then having to mark the activity. Automated follow-ups, reminders, and lead assignments have also saved time. Other CRMs may have these features, but they go about it in a more cumbersome way - too many clicks, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although it connects with key tools that enhance its functionality, it lacks as many native integrations as larger CRMs, which may necessitate third-party software for specific workflows. But if you keep it light, you shouldn't have that issue. For my use case, reporting is useful but not as deep as enterprise CRMs. All of this depends on your ORG and how it's structured. For my needs, it gets everything done! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nutshell is amazing it's really helping our business grow and has some great features i love the fact i can see when emails have been opened and links have been clicked it really helps me see what emails work best. we didn't have a CRM before but I have used different companies in the past and Nutshell is its above them all. I have had a few small issues and the customer service has been amazing they have been quick, supportive and attentive they have made sure they have kept me up-to-date all the way through until the issues have been fixed. The ease of transferring data from quick books was great so issues at all so with the integration its been fantastic. As i use it everyday i can see how much its going to help me the potential is really there
Thank you again couldn't recommend it enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
my only thing is to have people on site more as i am from te UK if i have an issue in the morning i have to wait untill your time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for someone without a technical background. Setting up and customizing workflows was a breeze, and I can now track leads, manage customer interactions, and automate follow-ups with just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program does have a large list of options and possiblities. At first glance I though that it might be too much... more than I needed. But after diving in a bit, I determined to only use exactly what I needed and forget about the options/services that were not important to me. It's alot to unpack, at first glance. Its a simple bit of software to get your herad around, you get a good amount of functionaility just on the basic package if your just starting out, and the customer service is great, one time they spent an hour with me getting the system just as i wanted it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
as with everything more functionaility on the lower levels, to get the system i really want it will cost me $42 a month and for a single user in a start up thats just to much of a hit on cashflow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
