Netbeans is the best IDE to develop websites and Apps. It is straightforward to use and support multiple languages to building codes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no dislike because it is easy to use and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Firstly I love that NetBeans is free. This IDE is also very stable and reliable for web and even desktop development. I mainly use it for Java web development using Maven, and it has never let me down. I like how quick it is to create REST web services from the database or java classes. NetBeans also has a large community of users which is great for support related issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times the IDE loses mappings of entity classes to the database, and you have to edit these files for the mappings to get picked up again. A UI-based Google App Engine deployment plugin would also be excellent instead of editing the pom.xml every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Netbeans is the best IDE for coding. the best thing about Netbeans is we can use it in windows as well as in Mac also. it is much easier to use. basically a user-friendly IDE. although it is good sometimes it creates problem open .some plugins of Netbeans are complicated .and Netbeans IDE is not available for all language . we cant code in python language in this DE. in NetBeans large project take lots of memory. and some time it cash when used for a long time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part is it is available for mac, windows and Linux, so anyone can use its function. Easy user compatibility functions and easy project handling with advanced plugin options. It supports 28 languages, so one IDE and 28 languages, it is the advantage of this IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most common problem I think all faces is its slow execution speed. They give lots of updates in few days, which is quite irritating, showing that NetBeans is under process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The IDE is quite good and makes me work like charm, shortcuts are great , its drag and drop feature makes it good to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing that I don't like is the fact that it sometimes, lags and takes a lot of time to debug code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a development environment that allows the use of multiple development technologies and all work great either for desktop, mobile, or web applications, you can use in different operating systems including Windows Mac OS and Linux, and has support to almost all novelties in Java language Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I work with different operating systems is difficult to switch work because NetBeans creates the configuration file according to the OS and is time-consuming to change this in different systems. The larger projects can consume a lot of memory and sometimes crash when I used the IDE for long periods of time, but to be fair long periods mean several weeks. Only addition of drivers and setting path for execution is a bit typical Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very efficient in writing java code and helps in building a big project on java.
It has a lot of inbuilt shortcuts to declare class, variable and functions.
It helps to write tests and execute even a single test file, which is very efficient.
Its integration with other tools like selenium, git, etc added a plus factor to this IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To set up the NetBeans and set the proper path in your machine is very painful for the first time.
It takes a lot of CPU RAM, so sometimes it slows down the machine
