What do you like best about Names & Faces?

Names & Faces is an organized way for me to be able to look up different coworkers. I enjoy all the different filters such as By Location, By Department, etc. My favorite feature would be the Recently Joined portion of names & faces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

Not much I can dislike about this tool. One minor thing I dislike is that sometimes I'll click on a co-worker's picture, and once I am taken to their profile, their photo will not load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping us get to know a little bit about all of our colleagues as well as be able to identify them in the passing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

We use Paylocity as our HRIS, and the functionally is... lacking. Names and Faces solves every need we have to create a beautiful and useful org chart with contact information.

We sync with our Paylocity data, which is actually really complicated because we have employees in another country who aren't in the system the same way. We are able to override employees where we need to (usually to show changes in manager to a foreign employee), and filter out board members who are in our system.

The team at Names & Faces has truly been so effective and responsive even we've needed assistance.

The pricing is super competitive. I would recommend this software to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

Since they did a revamp over a year ago I can't think of anything I would want to improve. Before that there were suggestions, and they fixed every single thing I could think of that needed it. Their product is now truly ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

We couldn't use the org chart that came with our HRIS because it was unwieldy and had a terrible user experience. This gives our employees an easy visual representation, searchable database, and user-friendly experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

It is super easy to use. I love being able to put a face to the name, especially working for a large company. I mainly use Names & Faces for employee locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

The organization chart can be a bit confusing. I understand I work for a big company but it can be a hot mess sometimes. I can't seem to find someone's manager without having to go all the way up and trying to follow a line all the way back down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Names & Faces:

Do it! It is easy and fun to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is very easy to look up someone's name and find their location. I need this the most for my job and it is very helpful. I can easily tell if someone is from our Virginia plant or they are remote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

This is a crisp, clear, easy one-stop-shop for employee photo, contact information and organizational information. Very helpful for new employees to learn who their co workers are; helpful to senior leaders to better know their employees, and cultivates a greater sense of employee engagement. Use daily so that you can recognize a work anniversary or wish a happy birthday.

This is also the best solution to quickly find an employee's work cell (or other contact info like desk number or email) and from there easily shoot them a text message or call directly from Names & Faces.

Not sure where someone falls in the organization? The org chart features comes with Names & Faces (and you don't have to pay for that!) Easily see who an employee reports to or find a manager and see their direct reports.

Lastly, the service and attention from the N&F team are impressive. This is a great (modest) investment and I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

The solution is awesome... the only drawback is encouraging your managers and employees to download (yet another) app and convincing them it's worth it. (which it is). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

I love how simple and easy it is to find my colleagues. We have about 300-400 employees at our company, so it is impossible for me to find who and what their job title is. Names and Faces have helped so much to find who I need to reach out to without being creepy on LinkedIn. I love the simple interface and fast search bar. It also helps me to approach my co-workers better in person after interacting with them only through Slack or emails because Names and Faces include pictures. It also allows you to search by department, names, titles, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

I am not sure if Names and Faces include an organizational chart, but ours did not have an organizational chart interface. It would have been great if it also showed organizational chart, rather than listing individually. This way, I can easily identify who the manager or directors are and I can easily see which teams the person is and who they report to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting to know our colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

that it acts as a look-book if I have a meeting with someone I haven't met yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

- incomplete office location data. ya'll include the office number, but not the agency map of the offices aren't included anymore. Sure, Ashley's office is #215, but I have no idea where to start looking on the second floor. I end up texting an account manger.

- should include full title for improved searchability and understanding of that person's role/function at the agency.

- should include client scope - i.e. which clients they work on in the building. Sometimes my boss says "go find somebody who works on Comcast" and it becomes a whole runaround to get in touch with the right person, at the right level, on the right account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's a look-book that provides a cell phone number, so I know what the person looks like and how to reach them if email isn't working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

It's really helpful when I quickly need to locate someone, contact them, or see who exactly they are. Invaluable when you are getting onto a new team or if you work in an org with a lot of people who's names you should know. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

nothing. it's great! Up to the internal team to be up on keeping all the info fresh--then it works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

Solving the problem of going into a meeting and not knowing who is who. Also, I can locate anyone or contact anyone in just seconds. It's a life saver for any work environment! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

Names & Faces quite simply makes me better at my job. It helps me connect quickly with people and build relationships more effectively. It is super simple to use - intuitive and fast. I really like that it doesn't try to do too much - it simply does the job I need it to, really well. It has become the go-to tool in my organisation that helps us all link up and recognise each other - quickly. This is good for our business, and our culture. I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

This isn't a dislike - it's just a fact. It is one of those tools that you might not realise you need, but then once you have it you don't know what you'd ever do without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Names & Faces:

Get it! Once you have, you won't know how your organisation worked without it... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

It connects people and therefore it builds a healthier culture to work in. I can quickly recognise new people and make them feel welcome. Ultimately it is a relationship-building tool. It shortcuts the path to new relationships and those relationships can bring untold benefits.

An unexpected benefit is that it helps me combat my own natural biases towards people I know over those I don't; as a leader of a department it helps me make more diverse decisions about the people I pull into projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

It's a very easy tool to use to see your colleagues, understand relevant information about them, identify their manager, etc. Works on mobile as well - typically where I use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

It's only as good as the data inside. If it's not being updated, then I find myself not using it as much. We have some colleagues still listed that I know have left our company, so you start doubting the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Names & Faces:

Make sure you keep the data updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

Identifying colleagues, where they are based, and who their teammates and managers are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Names & Faces?

The utterly clear layout and groupings of people mean you can find "that guy from that meeting" in seconds. I started as a new exec and had to learn a lot of new people fast. I went straight onto Names & Faces after every meeting in my first couple of months to remind myself of who's been there and where they fitted in - and still use it every time I have a corridor greeting with someone I can't quite place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Names & Faces?

I'd like us to be using it for even more detailed project team groupings, but that rests on our side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Names & Faces solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps my team feel more connected across the business - especially new starters who would otherwise take longer to know who to go to for what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
