Typically, when you see AI in sales tools, it's about crafting copy and personalizing messages. Muraena, however, approached it differently - we can describe who we're looking for in our own words, and their AI gets the filters job done. Platform is primarily built around searches. It is very easy to find a list of leads by any criteria - f.e, list of all SMB saas founders, list of all email marketers of shopify companies, etc etc. For any broad/narrow search like that, Muraena will return hundreds of profiles with their contacts info - ready to be imported in any cold outreach software.

Muraena's contact data quality is on par with most of the top tier industry data providers when we were evaluating different tools, so the price point was the main differentiator for our use case.
The other thing we use a lot is their API, which is a critical feature we've been using to integrate AI into our GTM processes and deliverables. Their API is intuitive and easy to use for the core use cases. We found that competitors tended to have either no API access, or it was complex and the subscription was expensive.
They also have an online app that our sales team uses. UI is intuitive to use (IMO - better than ZI, Apollo and D&B). One feature we love is that Sales people can easily build mailing lists which can easily be exported to campaigns / sequences our marketing team has set up in Pipedrive. 1. Simple and easy onboarding: I loved the fact that it doesn't require much time and effort to start with Muraena, everything is intuitive and simple. And the AI search gives you relevant results right away, without a need to dive into complex filters.
2. Data precision: Muraena's database showed a perfect level of data accuracy, which resulted in spikes in open rates and conversions to calls for our outreach campaigns.
3. Unique features: I found that Muraena has some features that are unique compared to other platforms (whether they don't exist, or are too pricey) - Buyer Intent signals and searching by keywords.

I've encountered that the sign-up options are limited - right now it's only possible to use the service by logging in with your Google account, which might be inconvenient for some people.
