What do you like best about MotionPoint?

The Turn Key nature of the solution allows me to get things done without doing anything. The Team we work with at MotionPoint are always on top of things, and are amongst our best vendor teams. What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

The most important problem our relationship resolves is a lack of resources. We are a small team. We do not have a large pool of multi-lingual content authors ready to jump in and create 29 different versions of a single page at a moment's notice. Having a great partner, like MotionPoint, drives our speed to market at a pace, we could never achieve ourselves. plus working with in country linguists and solid processes, we are ensured that our translations are high quality. What do you like best about MotionPoint?

I love the ease of maintaining my foreign language sites! I only make the changes on our English site, and MotionPoint does the rest. Maintaining multiple languages used to require making changes on each site individually. MotionPoint's customer service is on point. The staff is responsive and very helpful in resolving issues. What do you dislike about MotionPoint?

Not so much a dislike, but I do wish the updates to the foreign language sites could be nearly instantaneous instead of a next-day delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a federally funded transit system, we are required to make information available to those who speak English less than well or not at all. We do not have anyone on staff who is multi-lingual to assist with translations or interpreting. We provide the majority of the information related to our service on our website. What do you like best about MotionPoint?

I cannot comment on the quality of the actual translations but the implementation of the technology is just amazing. If the user selects an alternative language, then the call to deliver the page is intercepted by the Motionpoint process, which simply serves up the translated version. We use Adobe AEM, which has the ability to have multiple renditions of a page for languages but we would then have to manage all those page copies - this solution just works without us doing anything - other than paying the bill. What do you dislike about MotionPoint?

It is not inexpensive - when I took over the digital team I called them in to try to understand the costs. Once I understood the effort that they were taking from the team, I swallowed and accepted the cost as being appropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MotionPoint:

We all hear from vendors who pitch that their solutions "just work out of the box" and then 3 years later, you're still trying to get it to work. That's NOT the case here - when we implemented MotionPoint initially, we had one web admin running the entire site. She basically just had to add a language drop-down to the site and make some basic changes to support the integration (the helped with this) and it has worked consistently since then. What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have customers in almost every country in the world and publish highly scientific content. We need to have six alternative languages for each page and the effort of both translating AND managing those pages is a lot of work for a smaller digital team. The benefits? It really just works...if there's a translation then they serve it up automatically, they deal with all the changes that we make to the source pages. If there isn't a translation then the English source page is served up - not page not found errors for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MotionPoint has an awesome team and translation is always on point, but it is very pricey. For many businesses, the price point may not make sense compared to other options which are 90% cheaper using AI translation tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MotionPoint?

Translations are done in a "it just works" way; you don't really spend any calories on the mechanisms working under the hood. A helpful, available, service minded and solution oriented support solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about MotionPoint?

My company has been using MotionPoint for a few years now, and for the most part, their proxy solution has been very reliable, requiring very little intervention from within. We have been able to maintain a Spanish site with only one or two employees involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MotionPoint?

I think this is partially because of the pandemic, but the level of customer service has declined over the last couple of years. I think there is no longer a fully-staffed contact center, so I can't always get somebody from the support team on the phone when a critial issue arises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before we began using MotionPoint, we had a very manual site translation process. This required a lot more internal resources, and also had a lot of duplicated content translation. What do you like best about MotionPoint?

If you need to have your site translated, MotionPoint does a phenomenal job. What impresses me more about MotionPoint is the support they provide after the translated site goes live. What do you dislike about MotionPoint?

The support they provide today is excellent. It did take a little bit of effort to understand the support center's internal processes in the beginning. There is not much to say as far as disliking MotionPoint. We have had some challenges with integrating the technology with our products; however, MotionPoint works very hard to assist us in finding a solution that works. What do you like best about MotionPoint?

Their level of support is amazing, in case a situation is found, after the support ticket is created, they answer in less than 30mins and provide constant updates of what they are doing and their findings. Better translation quality, some phrases or text translated doesn't have any sense in Spanish. Sometimes motion point team takes them a long time to start fixing a ticket, so, when they use the user provided, the user is not working anymore, because users are changing all the time, then I have to find another user and it sometimes happens the same, and takes me a lot of time find another user Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
