Dynamic background. Super easy and cool way to share screen and do interactive demo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doesn't work as smooth on old macs, which doesn't have M1/M2 chips Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes virtual meetings more real and keeps participants engaged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to use my remote control. Sometimes I have to go back and reset rooms for presentations I already set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can put your video feed (your face or body) in FRONT of the slide, especially if you need to emphasize a point. Putting yourself in front puts focus on your words and what you are saying. It engages you with the speaker (you). Slides are so easy to "tune out," but it is harder to tune out a living, breathing, hand waving person in front of the screen. (Slides still have info and pictures, so you still use them). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use PowerPoint, and everything I do (educational courses, presentations) is ALREADY in Powerpoint. I find integrating PowerPoint into mmhmm to be a little clunky (the benefit outweighs the clunkiness at the moment). Mmhmm recommends making all your slides native in mmhmm for the most streamlined process, but this is definitely a learning curve, and just importing all your old stuff doesn't work as beautifully as you'd hope. Because the meld between PowerPoint, Zoom, and mmhmm is not seamless (for me at least), I find a "learning and redoing" component. I feel that if I truly understood how to use mmhmm fully, I could catapult my courses from "wow, that's a lot better" to "wow that's amazing!" but I don't have the time in my schedule to jump from "better" to "amazing." mmhmm has tons of untapped potential. I'm just not sure if that potential is attainable for me (or people who want to be fabulous without 100% jumping ship from PowerPoint - when you are an old-school presenter, it can be hard to quit!).
Also, I have a mid-level conference camera and wish I had a pro one. Sometimes i have a little of the gel look outline in my presentations.
mmhmm says they just have regular cameras, and I have tried a green screen, but I have never been able to get anything as clean and crisp as mmhmm presenters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

mmhmm allows me to combine multiple input sources and multiple effects without any technical complexity to improve my presentations by making them more interactive and exciting. Presentations can be quite monotonous at times, and it's challenging to keep an audience engaged during webinars, and in Covid times, every presentation was a remote presentation. Being able to add interactive elements was a great addition and has led to a lot of positive customer feedback on my presentation style. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing to dislike. The application works well and is very stable. Development is quick and efficient and new stuff gets added constantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can have yourself while still showing your "presentation" at the same time. Super cool idea for engagement during virtual sessions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UX still needs a decent amount of work. It would also be great to customize the look, style, and size of the presentation/images. We found that we couldn't get everything quite as big as we wanted, especially if there was text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
