1. Data, when exported, doesn't show up in all the fields

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

As a project manager, I have used Mixpanel that is a comprehensive tool that is centered on tracking events and user profiles. The dashboard offers a very intuitive interface that includes a graphical viewer that presents complex data in easy-to-read form. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

We’ve had a few instances where server-side integration protocol seemed lagging, which slightly affected the operations tempo. Furthermore, some parts of the documentation feel a little outdated, and some sections of it have proven to be confusing, and I needed tech support to go around those few confusing aspects. What do you like best about Mixpanel?

Once you're used to the setup of mixpanel and it's possibilities, it's a very powerful tool to generatre valuable insights about your product and its usage by your customers. It helps us every day to understand problems, to support decision making and prioritizing ressources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

With some features (like cohorts) it's hard to keep a good overview if you're using it extensively. There is no possibnility to group chorts into projects or similar, it gets very messy after time. Some filters in the reports don't save reliably and I always have to adjust the report again, which is annoying.And I can't find a public roadmap or similar to know what changes or new features are coming next, would be great to have some insight here. The funnel provides you with the ability to create segments target audiences, automate campaigns and send notifications. It's a method, for organizing events tailored to each page or activity and monitoring user engagement. Involvement in customizing various aspects that the organization prioritizes is crucial. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

Mixpanel can be a bit challenging for beginners to grasp and navigate initially.

The customer support system of Mixpanel is not up, to par. Doesn't provide assistance.

What do you like best about Mixpanel?

The reports are so intuitive I can pull together insights in seconds. I also love the Lookup table functionality. It allows us to add to the data without needing to involve engineering. Often as I'm building a report, I will find I would like to tweak the data in some way - such as trimming down the language code. In the past, with other platforms, this would have required an engineering change to modify the event. But with lookup tables, I can supplement the data on my own, and it applies retroactively to all my data! Extremely powerful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

We were really looking forward to being able to tie a users journey across the enrollment process to conversion into an MAU. Unfortunately, once we got to implementation it became apparent that Mixpanel's architecture assumes each device is only used by one user. Our platform supports multiple users per device. This has left us unable to track any of the automatic events and we've had to remove all unauthenticated events. Mixpanel is attempting to work with us to find an alternative solution but we havent reached one yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We came from using Google Analytics and Firebase - or I should say we supported those applications but they were so ineffective that no one on our team used them. With Mixpanel we're able to answer the questions about our users and how they are interacting with our app; which devices types are they using, which features they are using, etc. Its given us a view into how what we're building is being used and its set us on the path towards being able to tie that back to the overall company objectives. This flexible platform allows me to tailor the analytics to my needs. I can define custom events and properties based on my app's unique features and track the metrics that matter most to my business.

easy to use, tooltips are helpful, the knowledgebase is fantastic,responsive community, and Mixpanel curses are great

the value:

Mixpanel allows us to make data-driven decisions, know instead of speculate or assets. it allow us to measure ourselves and improve accordingly

the customization :

data collection is reliable and covers all that we need, based on our needs. we can also edit, change and adjust events and properties on the code level but also with Mixpanel UI, meaning the Mixpanel environment grows and develops side by side with our product. What do you dislike about Mixpanel?

1. unknown unknown - hard to examine flow of events to understand users behavior. it's easier to analyze conversion rates of pre-defined events

2. it's tough for us to understand when users get value from our platform - what event is a monovalent sign of success

3. measuring time spent

4. ad blockers interfering with data collection

5. integration with Salesforce/Google sheet
