I like that the platform is all-inclusive and provides for all needs and all privacy regulations. It's fairly easy to set up. The automation and suggestions of processing activities and data categories usually processed by most well known vendors. As far as I am aware, it's the only privacy management platfom embading authomation to such degree. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The data scraping solution offered to scan the employees emails doesn't have any transparent guarantees that it protects the privacy of all employees (quite ironic).
The templates for registereing vendors/processing activities are not customisable at all. Any new fields that can be added must be plain text, not even links, and the existinf fields are very rigid to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it was to get started with Mine. Their UI is easy to follow and makes addressing customer data requests stress-free. As a one-person team monitoring these requests right now I couldn't be happier with the ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My job and company don't require the most in-depth use for Mine currently. We've not had to extend our needs for Mine beyond the straight forward demands of erasing user data so I've not come across any downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From our point of view, Mine PrivacyOps fits best into an organization that already has a loose understanding of how to handle privacy requests for their specific customer base, PII types, country profile, etc. We did not rely on the Mine team for answering any legal questions and would suggest that prospective Mine customers do not try to entirely replace the need for a legal team review with the Mine product. My favorite thing about Mine is their support. They are responsive, friendly, and helpful. It's almost unheard of in other tools I've used.
But the reason we selected PrivacyOps is that it can detect shadow IT. Other vendors that I've talked to said that was an impossible task, and they have a clever and innovative way to do that.

If you're using PrivacyOps to manually respond to data subject requests (rather than automated), you will have to keep a list of which systems hold which type of data, because all of your systems are in one unsorted list. But true to their excellent customer support, they have it on their list of features to add.

Mine is a reliable, easy-to-use, and effective platform for managing our privacy and compliance needs. It helped us understand our risk exposure when it comes to regulations and is extremely helpful for data mapping. The platform is very intuitive to use and has a fun and playful UI. I love working on it.
