Mine has been great for tracking and facilitating the execution of data deletion requests that come through for our various products. The ability to use automations for third party services alongside manual tasks for more complex internal systems has allowed our team to feel confident in a well-defined data deletion process. As for the team working at Mine, their responsiveness to our feedback and their willingness to work through any questions together has made the continued use of their product an easy decision. The only downside to Mine is its lack of customization in certain areas, specifically in Data Types and DSR Handling. Mine is very streamlined and has straight-forward options for most standard use-cases, but for users that want custom data types or specific metadata on data deletion requests, work-arounds may be needed.

That being said, as we have raised these issues with the team at Mine, and they have started adding more and more to the product that has reduced or even removed the need for certain work-arounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The scanning is automated but you can't complete the process without the human touch and discretion. It makes privacy easier, but not something taken for granted.

We have used Mine for over a year to help with our data privacy protocols. The product is easy and intuitive to use, and it has allowed us to build seamless internal processes to handle sensitive data privacy requests.
