What do you like best about MineOS?

We used Mine for our usual privacy operations (handling DSR etc), but I have to say that the real “killer” is their Data Mapping. Oh, the data mapping.

In a nutshell, Mine finds data sources that hold your users’ data, and gives you control over your SaaS “chaos”. It gives you insights like:

1. Data redundancy (when the same user’s data is spread across multiple sources, but you only need it in some of them)

2. Lack of data accuracy (when there’s a different piece of information in each source regarding the same user)

3. Systems redundancy (when you have systems you don’t even use/need anymore).

Add that to the fact that we found some “Shadow IT” (employees that left without deactivating their SaaS).

Mine also provides you with the sensitivity of risk for each data source, based on the amount of records and data type.

And best of all? It’s live, i.e everything changes in real time, which allows us to keep up-to-date with compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

When I first used the data mapping feature, I connected my own Gmail account and it started the scan. When it finished, I thought that I had the map of the entire company- which was false. It’s probably because I didn’t see that only “1 coworker is connected” (it’s stated at the top), but I’d love Mine to give more alerts and let you know that you need to connect more teammates to receive a full map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

No more surveys; no more manual inspections; no more “guesstimations”... data mapping is now automatic and live for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for your great review! We have passed along all of these notes about the data mapping to the product team and truly appreciate your feedback. Cheers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

- Minimal to zero learning curve. The system is self-serve and self-explanatory, and we managed to get everything we needed in a matter of seconds.

- Very helpful support team. They provide personal assistance whenever we need, and they are our “privacy ops advisors” for new possibilities.

- The AI of their data mapping feature is super powerful, and we found it to be very accurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Nothing I dislike at the moment, but I do think that people should not go and upgrade to Mine’s premium plans initially. It would be a good idea to start out with the free version, then upgrade if necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We increased our compliance with the GDPR by using Mine, and we can’t think of any other solution that gave us this kind of peace of mind. We 100% reduce more privacy risks than before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for the kind review, Noy! It's awesome to hear how Mine has helped your team stay on top your data sources with our Live Data Mapping. We appreciate you and your team being a part of the Mine community!

What do you like best about MineOS?

The ease of access on the portal dashboard and how simple it is to clear out requests. Also how helpful the Mine team has been with answering our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Sometimes we are unable to delete information from a data source. Though it isn't ideal, the Mine team was very informative on the reasons a deletion request may fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous DSAR system was not user-friendly at all so this has been a great upgrade for our company. It has saved us a lot of time processing these requests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for your review of Mine PrivacyOps, we're glad to hear that you are finding the product easy to use and that our team is helpful. It's fantastic to see that you delete user data automatically using Mine PrivacyOps. I'm sorry to hear that there have been some instances where you were not able to delete information from a data source. Our team is always happy to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Thanks again for your feedback!

What do you like best about MineOS?

The biggest highlight was building our company’s data source list. Their selection of data sources is great and growing very fast. I also enjoy how every request gets handled: you get the correct information at the right step, such as the evidence. That’s a great feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

It would be nice to have Mine in more languages, as a co-worker struggled with and I had to explain stuff multiple times. But after setting up the templates and automation, the process is almost entirely automated, so the language barrier is not that big of a deal. It also helps that you can leave your teammates’ notes on every request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mine PrivacyOps gives us many tools to channel external sources and in-house data areas. The most significant benefit for our company is that every data source integration we needed was already available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you so much for the review, Sivan! We are thrilled to hear how Mine helps your team with building your data sources list. We have noted the feedback about languages and will definitely work on adding more as soon as possible. Cheers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

Since discovering Mine our company uses it for all our privacy-related duties as it helps us to fulfill incoming deletion requests and in-house data mapping in the easiest way possible. Everyone in our team is no longer reluctant when assigned to handling privacy requests because Mine’s Privacy Portal and its amazing UI are unbelievably easy and efficient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

One of the many integrations we use is not included not featured in Mine’s data sources. But we reached out to their support team and got great feedback back that they are already working on implementing it. So we’re looking forward to having a fully automated coverage of our data sources soon. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MineOS:

We know how time-consuming handling deletion requests can be, especially if you use external services such as Intercom, Mailchimp, Zendesk, Hubspot, and so on. You won’t believe the time and resources we save now that we use Mine PrivacyOps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Completing deletion requests has always been something that took so much time, that it was hard to stay on top of it. The workflow now is incredibly impressive across all different data sources. Also, thanks to the Data Mapping we realized how we can minimize our digital exposure within our company and our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for leaving a great review, Yarden! We are happy to hear that you love using Mine. We're so happy you liked our user interface.

What do you like best about MineOS?

I’ve used 2 other “old-school” vendors for our privacy ops before, and the difference is night and day compared to Mine.

First, the initial setup. Oh my gosh, the setup. With Mine it’s SELF SERVE which means I first onboarded in the middle of the night without speaking to anyone. With other solutions, we had to make at least 5 zoom calls before we could access their platforms, and the implementation took about a month. With Mine? I was ready to go within 3 minutes.

Second, their support team. Mine is AAA when it comes to customer care. They answer anything in 2 minutes, with tailor-made solutions and practical info. The previous vendor we had here for privacy ops directed me to their lousy “Help Center” articles every time I needed support. Of course, those articles have never (even once) been useful.

Third, innovation. This is actually the biggest one. Mine is a startup, and it’s an advantage for them (and for us, as their clients). They do everything really quickly, release new versions literally every week, and are attentive to their clients specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

- The reports aren’t as detailed as I would like, but I know it’s being updated soon.

- The data mapping insights page works most of the time but not always. By refreshing the page it suddenly works.

- Sometimes there are new privacy requests and later, when they’re completed, you might receive additional email about it and the other agents in the company don't understand what happened. This one actually happened for us a while ago (6 months ago) and I think it’s solved now since it doesn’t happen any more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We solved the problem of having to deal with bad privacy management software (which is what the old players in this industry offer). With Mine, everything is now fixed and we finally found our favorite vendor. Great solution! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for your review! It's great to hear you enjoy using Mine, and we will pass along your excellent feedback to our product team. We're so happy you found our platform innovative compared to other platforms you used in the past! Thank you. Cheers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

Mine PrivacyOps is extremely powerful.

Using real-time data flows inside our company’s environment, Mine PrivacyOps can detect privacy risks and discover personal data within our data sources. By providing actionable insights into the types of personal data used in the day-to-day operation of our company, it assists Management, Security and Engineering teams to prevent privacy issues and possible incidents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

The reports they give are wonderful, but they know so much information about our privacy operations that they could give much more data and statistics.

Our DPO is happy with the current reports to demonstrate compliance with privacy regulations, and yet, we would like to see them become more extensive in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We increase compliance with privacy laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, and reduce risks (or prevent privacy incidents) at the same time. It’s a win for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for this great review, Tal! It's amazing to hear that Mine is helping your team to get peace of mind when it comes to privacy regulations. Thanks for being part of the Mine family!

What do you like best about MineOS?

Mine has proven to be a powerful tool in our search for a privacy ops platform. Prior to Mine, we were primarily working off of a spreadsheet to track incoming Data Subject Requests (whether deletion or access), data sources, PII, and data types. Mine has allowed us to replace all of this spreadsheet and more while at the same time, providing us with a comprehensive picture of all data privacy metrics in our company as well as important statistics on DSRs and DSARs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Mine's features are excellent, as is the ease with which it can be set up and used right away. When we ran into a potential problem where some fields we wanted weren't available or some functionality was lacking, Mine has taken our requests seriously and helped us to find a solution. The speed is also great. I think that as time passes, Mine's system will become more stable and sturdy, which will eliminate the need to contact their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering MineOS:

Reach out to support if you have any issues - they're fast and able to solve everything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are primarily using Mine for our DSR and data sources management in terms of painting a complete picture as to what tools are holding our users' data, who uses those tools, what types of data are held, etc. We also use it to fulfill those DSRs after the automation is enabled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for leaving a review! We're happy to hear that you enjoy using Mine :) We appreciate your feedback.

What do you like best about MineOS?

Use the awesome feature of importing externally received deletion or copy requests. It might seem like an extra task at first, but believe me, it’s so nice to have every request organized in one place. It also keeps track of your open and closed requests on the reports page Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Having the option to not only switch the Privacy Center to different languages but the whole site would be very nice. But having the option to change the Privacy Center besides English to German, Spanish, Arabic, and French is already a big plus. Looking forward to more languages in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has never been easier to stay on top of requests regarding privacy topics. We now have the feeling we’re handling everything in a way more secure way, a way our customers deserve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for the review! We are glad to hear your team was able to import incoming DSRs and DSARs and thus simplify your privacy operations. We're constantly working on adding more languages to the Privacy Center, feel free to share with us your wish list :) Cheers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

It's super easy to set up, easy to use and fast to ramp up the team, no need to create complex flows or heavy integrations (everything is no-code API), the UI is intuitive and easy to follow, and our team is quick to learn how to manage tickets and requests.

With Mine, we really improved how we manage data privacy in our company. Everything takes much less time than before now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Assumptions made by the data mapping tool (whether an integrated system contains PII) have some error margin. In terms of DSAR capabilities and integrations, they are excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We no longer have the need to “chase” other teams to complete data privacy requests. None of our employees need to be chased or bothered, and we save hours of manual work for our support team. With Mine we have total control over our privacy operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for leaving a review! We're happy to hear that you enjoy the easy privacy flows and Mine's interface -- we do too :)
