We were using the Mine PrivacyOps infrequently for the first few months every time requests from Mine were coming in. Once Mine launched the Intercom integration we decided to connect our data privacy requests sources into Mine and apply the Intercom integration on all of them (thanks for helping with that, Galit from Mine!). We created a fully automatic process where Mine automatically pulls out our gamers data from Intercom, deletes it with one click and updates the user. Hands-free operation. We ended up completing 1.5x more privacy requests each week than before.
I must say that initially, the fact that everything was self-serve is remarkable! There was no complicated setup. It was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no negatives to Mine’s solution. Mine PrivacyOps is a great privacy platform that fit our business needs perfectly. Simple and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I originally thought we didn’t need to use tools dedicated to privacy. We were managing our incoming privacy requests manually where data has been deleted by our engineers and documented by our support team. I thought it might be an overhead for our company since we already used over 10 SaaS services Well… That was a big mistake.
We used to spend 16 hours a month managing privacy requests.
Why? With every request that came in, we had to locate the customer in our databases in order to understand what information we store about them and where it is kept. Then, we had to delete/extract the data from all our SaaS services, sometimes ask follow up questions and finally reply to the customer and update the request status. We receive about 20-30 privacy requests per month (from all sources) so one can only assume what a big burden it was.
This was the process for the past two years, and Mine transformed it completely.
A few months back, our support team started receiving data privacy requests from Mine, so we began exploring Mine PrivacyOps, and in the first few weeks we only checked out the additional information Mine provides per each request and tried auto-responses. When we started automating our responses, we started seeing a significant drop in the total number of hours it takes us to handle privacy requests per day. That made us take the extra step and forward the email requests we were receiving into the Mine portal as well. We then automated pretty much the entire once-manual workflow by connecting our different data sources like Mailchimp and Zendesk so that the deletion itself is being done fully automatically today. As I said I was apprehensive about adding more software to our company's arsenal. So with Mine, I dislike the usual hassle that comes with managing another SaaS in our company: payments, invoices, teammates log in, etc. Thankfully, Mine’s support team is top notch, and they help with anything we need within minutes. They’re always available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Part of my job as a bookkeeper is to also make sure that we’re compliant with GDPR and CCPA. Mine allows me to monitor all of our privacy operations, and know that everything is being taken care of. It’s brilliant.
What I like the most about Mine, is the fact that they also have over a million users (consumers) on the other end. Compared to other solutions in the business-privacy industry, Mine actually “feels the ground” and provides us privacy tools that actually benefit both sides.
For example: Not long ago, I implemented the “Privacy Center” feature in my company’s websites. This feature allows people to send privacy requests with ease, through a structured form, and on the other side, I get them much more organized (instead of free text). It’s just one example, there are many more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s not possible to close privacy requests in bulk (but I understand why - it’s very sensitive). Other than that, nothing I can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Setup was super-easy, barely an inconvenience. They offer the platform as a self-serve, which is so much better than having to start a long implementation process that could take months.
I love the fact that we were able to gain insights immediately after enabling the Data Mapping feature. It took less than a minute to understand we’re having a huge privacy risk (data redundancy) we can now mitigate thanks to Mine PrivacyOps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much! I sometimes complain about SaaS user interfaces, but Mine’s design is actually TERRIFIC - check out the screenshots on this page. So I can’t think of any disadvantages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The integrations with data sources. What kind of sorcery is this? Seriously…
We received invaluable information about the SaaS tools we use as a result of these API connections (that didn't require our Dev team to set up). For example — identifying redundant sources, data inaccuracy and unnecessary PII we hold in various data sources.
Add that to the fact that we handle 100% of our incoming data privacy requests with these integrations (we configured an automatic process thanks to them), and you got a winning platform here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The insights we got from scanning our data sources are still limited, and we did make some conclusions ourselves here. However, I know that Mine continues to develop this feature and should provide much more insights during the next few weeks.
In addition, when we had to change our logo (in our company profile) we had to contact Mine’s team. This process could have been a feature in the platform 🙂 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the platform creates an easy way for users and site operators to connect and confirm that data has been searched and deleted where applicable. It makes confirming it with the individual easy. Also, shows you the email in particular that the end-user received that might have been the source of the issue. It's hard to go too far with it without paying. Having a limited budget, and this being one of several ways people reach out to request data deletion, it doesn't make sense for my institution at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best privacy vendor we had, in all aspects.
There are many privacy solutions that provide good privacy-ops features but on-premise or closed source (which requires living with your vendor) - that don't fit well with growing businesses. Cloud-based applications, even though offer more flexibility and ease of use, still cost more than most small and medium-sized companies can afford most of the time.
Mine is the perfect middle-ground:
Cloud-based and affordable at the same time.
Mine offers some very powerful features (including AI to discover your company’s data sources) which is neat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can’t export the list of open privacy requests I have in my dashboard. Their support team is helpful about that and solves my issue every time, but this one could be a built-in feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We started with Mine to handle privacy requests (DSRs, DSARs, etc). It was tremendous and reduced our workload significantly (we did it with another company before Mine, and it was too messy).
When Mine released their smart Data Mapping feature, we were thrilled. We onboarded our employees and found out where our users' data is stored.
And oh boy, what did we find:
1) Shadow IT (employees that left and didn't notify us about an active SaaS tool they signed up to that holds our users' data).
2) Data sources we forgot that even existed
3) Duplicate SaaS (redundancy)
This, honestly, blew our minds.
At this stage, all we had to do was connect these hidden data sources with Mine's API, and then we got all the records and quickly fixed everything.
I must also shout out to Galit from Customer Support - she explained everything beautifully and onboarded us in a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As the person in charge of privacy compliance, I'm truly grateful for this platform. It works like magic.
I wish the data mapping feature was available sooner if anything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were shocked to learn that this platform does not require any coding or R&D time! Moreover, the setup was really easy. Onboarding is as simple as watching a video. We managed to get maximum value without headaches at all (compared to other platforms). Mine makes it easy for us to manage incoming data requests, fast and automatically. More privacy center localization support please! There are 4 languages at the moment, but since we are a global company, we would love it if Mine could add more languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
