What do you like best about MineOS?

Mine's biggest strength is how it turns a complex and disjoint process of mapping data and processing privacy requests into a workflow that can be almost entirely automated. It provides the tools for smaller orgs to build a compliance program that would otherwise be out of their reach and it enables larger orgs to deal with any quantity of requests in a streamlined way.

It has significantly simplified and sped up our workflows for dealing with and responding to these requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

It currently lacks some integrated features for narrowing down the results of your overall data mapping process into an exact list of the services you'd like to cover but I believe this is coming soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our main problem was that dealing with privacy requests was difficult - we had no overall map of where our data was and the deletion process was manual, involving people from every team to manage the services they own. With Mine, the entire process can be reduced to a few clicks, saving a huge amount of time and context switching for our staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for your kind words, Mine has been built with the intention of helping businesses large and small to automate their data mapping and privacy request processes. We're glad to hear that it is living up to this goal and simplifying your DSR/DSAR workflows. You can delete user data automatically using Mine PrivacyOps — and we're thrilled to hear it helps you save time.

As we continue to grow, we are constantly working on new features and integrations that will make the process even easier for our users. If there is anything specific you would like to see in future updates, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Thank you again for your support, it is truly appreciated. Thanks to you (and other reviewers), we keep Mine PrivacyOps the #1 ranked privacy software on G2.

What do you like best about MineOS?

Mine offers many many features to make our lives easier when it comes to privacy (which is usually a headache). My company started using Mine because of the privacy requests we got from its users, now we discovered also data mapping and cookie consent management.

I appreciate a lot that the design allows an easy and not overwhelming experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

I think my main dislike is that I blocked a timeslot in my calendar to set everything up but eventually I only needed 10 minutes for that lol. Don’t forget to use the templates & rules they offer + customize them. This will save a lot of extra time and makes great automated progress. Oh and also there is 1-2 automation that is not available, but for now, we just added them to the manual list, not ideal but still nice to have an overview of what we’re doing when handling a deletion request... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our process is now better in every way, also my privacy awareness is much better as I learned a lot from using Mine. The live data mapping feature and PII discovery were great insights I had no idea were accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for choosing Mine, Gilad! We're glad to hear that you and your team are finding our product helpful in managing your privacy needs. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible for you, and we're happy to know that we're succeeding in that endeavor. We developed it so that you could delete users' data automatically using Mine PrivacyOps.

We appreciate your feedback on the features you'd like to see added and will be sure to pass along your suggestions to our development team. Thank you again for choosing Mine and for the kind words, they help us keep Mine PrivacyOps as the #1 ranked privacy software on G2. We look forward to continuing to serve you well.

What do you like best about MineOS?

We love Mine’s integrations. They are configured well and help us with deleting user data from our data sources (upon request) within seconds, without having to log in to that specific data sources and pull data manually.

Also, Mine offers great email templates & rules! Once our agents complete a Data Subject Request, Mine suggests a copy for responding to the user. It saves us a lot of time.

In addition, we set up a few “reject rules”, as we receive a lot of irrelevant privacy requests from time to time - from people that we don’t even hold their data. So thanks to Mine’s “evidence”, the system automatically identifies requests coming from these people, “paints” them as irrelevant, rejects the request, and responds to them. All without human touch, all automatically!

I think it’s a great privacy management platform because on top of everything I mentioned, the UI is really pleasant, and everything is understandable and easy. We don’t have to worry about coding privacy processes here at IT in order to make Mine work well. It just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

For adding teammates, we currently have to write down their names and email addresses in Mine’s platform. I think it would be great if Mine could give us a “magic link” we could send to our colleagues, and by clicking on them they will be added to our company’s portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Well, until now our team manually replied to each and every DSR and DSAR, and we had to deal with irrelevant DSRs as mentioned above. With Mine, all of that doesn’t happen anymore, and it’s completely no-code. Our privacy processes are 100% automatic now, and our support team doesn’t have to manually reply to each user. What do you like best about MineOS?

Great productivity tool for everything related to our users’ privacy. Our entire CS team loves it, as it allows us to fulfill privacy requests so much faster than before (less manual work, more automation). Mine simplifies and improves the quality of work. Can’t find a comparable product that gives the same value to a company in terms of handling privacy requests and controlling data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

It’s the 2nd time I’ve implemented Mine. I used it and loved it at my previous company. I still like it, but this time something was stuck when adding employees from other departments (the invitation wasn’t sent). Luckily they helped really fast, but still, it wasn’t as smooth an experience as before. Make sure to contact their support through chat if you’re stuck during implementation (they help out fast). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our Customer Success team saves hours over hours every week because we now automate the facilitation of DSRs and DSARs. That’s everything in a nutshell. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you for choosing to use Mine PrivacyOps, we're glad to hear that it's helping you with your privacy requests and data management. We appreciate the positive feedback on its productivity value and features.

I'm sorry to hear there was a snag when adding employees from other departments, I'll pass this along to our Product team so they can investigate and fix it if needed. I'm thrilled to hear that the issue was resolved eventually. Thanks again for using Mine and providing your valuable feedback, it helps us keep Mine PrivacyOps as the #1 ranked privacy software on G2.

What do you like best about MineOS?

DSAR automation and integrations are invaluable. Data mapping across org is very streamlined. Makes data protection much simpler and their customer service is best in class. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Not much to dislike. It's a great solution with great people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping us to stay compliant with data protection laws in the most automated and cost effective manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Or Baram of MineOS

We're happy to read about the value that our customers are getting from the platform! Thank you for mentioning two major pillars of our product: automation and cost-effectiveness. We will also take note to commend our customer service & support teams which are the ongoing basis for successful relationships with our customers. Cheers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

Mine PrivacyOps is extremely innovative. I couldn’t believe such easy solutions are available in the privacy space (which is usually very complex and technical). Their powerful AI that manages all incoming DSR/DSAR, along with the other AI for scanning all of our company’s data sources, are honestly magical.

Most of our employees are not engineers, and also limited by time, and yet they managed to implement and set up Mine PrivacyOps in less than a day. They connected all of our data sources to Mine’s platform and we can now do everything automatically: From fulfilling data privacy requests to demonstrating compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

1) The evidence (for faster request validation) takes a few seconds to load for each request.

2) Not all integrations we need are available.

3) Mine’s B2C users send us a lot of deletion requests

4) Consent management is outsourced; we use it and we like it but it’s not offered by Mine directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Since we now have automatic processes for our entire data privacy operations, we spend less hours every week on managing all incoming DSRs and completing them. This innovative platform really changed everything for us, for the better (much better). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thanks for the review, Or! We appreciate your feedback and have noted your comments about the speed of the evidence, the lack of some integrations, and the suggestion for an in-house consent management solution. So glad to have you a part of the Mine community!

What do you like best about MineOS?

The ability to get all of our customer data under one roof was invaluable - it allowed us to see exactly what information we were collecting, who was using it, and how they were using it.

Everything works well with Mine PrivacyOps - the scan data gathering is very thorough, the “privacy center” allows any end user to submit DSRs without having to contact support or IT, and our GDPR compliance program has never been easier. And I love that Mine continuously scans for new sources of customer data as we launch new products or websites.

Mine lets us know when something is out of control (such as a 3rd party that has too much data of our users) so we can fix it ASAP rather than waiting until after a security or a privacy incident occurs. That gives us great peace of mind! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Everyone in our company uses Mine, as we take privacy very seriously. As a designer, I really appreciate the ease of use here.

It’s hard to think of anything I dislike about this solution because I’ve seen the value of it firsthand. If anything, I guess if we were building a new website or product it would be nice to have more flexibility with our data sources. We’re planning on launching some AI-driven chatbots soon and I know that Mine will require us to add in code for consents there. But again, not really disliked - just something to be aware of before you launch your own products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Mine helps us with everything from getting consent forms up on our website, to collecting data from a dozen different sources and organizing it all into one place. Mine has been a really valuable tool for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Awesome, Ben! We're so happy to learn that *everyone* in your company uses Mine, even Product Designers!

What do you like best about MineOS?

I must be honest, the GDPR was a real burden for us before Mine.

Mine gave excellent customer service, exceptional UX and a powerful product that helped us resolve the GDPR issue. Probably for good. It’s no longer a concern for us!

Let me be clear: This is the best user experience I’ve seen when it comes to privacy operations. Mine offers a beautiful UI and the flows to get things done just make sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Perhaps more notifications (to our email) or more automation could be great.

We currently log in to the platform every day to check how we’re doing, and I think Mine could give us that via a daily email or by giving us a way to automate the process somehow Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

All of our privacy management is now done through Mine. It makes us more productive as we need to do less manual boring and repetitive tasks, which clears our time for the actual work to be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Wow, thanks for the kind review, Maayan! It's awesome to hear how much you liked our user experience. We appreciate you and your team being a part of the Mine community!

What do you like best about MineOS?

They let you do a lot for free, as soon as you finish setting up your company’s portal. Just the evidence that Mine fetches from the users is enough for us to use the platform, but they offer much more. They let us try their live data mapping (we ran 1 scan for free) and we liked what we saw (very detailed), so we think of upgrading soon in order to utilize the daily data mapping too. It’s very helpful to avoid risks, in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

Perhaps more flexibility in pricing? We really try to do the “lean” approach here, and if we could pay per evidence-backed request (as a payment unit) it could be good for us. Needless to say, Mine is still much cheaper than other options in the market, based on an analysis I made a while ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

No-code privacy automations are crazy good. Every manual task is now automated: DSR → automated; Data Sources Spreadsheets → Automated Data Mapping; In-house developed Consent Management tool → automated with Mine now. Using what experts use really feel great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Orbach of MineOS

Thank you, Tamar! It's lovely to learn how much value you get from Mine PrivacyOps as a free user :) Your suggestion regarding modular pricing was well received and will definitely be considered. Thanks!

What do you like best about MineOS?

We didn’t know at first if we’d like to use Mine for the long term. Thankfully, the system offers a very simple set up & implementation process, which made it possible to test Mine out without putting too much effort into starting with it. Once we saw how easy it is to set automatic flows that handle incoming DSRs for us, we got hooked. It’s built for people who don’t have time in mind. Getting privacy-related stuff done is more than easy now, and even with the free version we’re completely happy with it.

We use Mine not only for handling our users’ privacy, but also our employees’ privacy, our candidates’ privacy, and basically every touch point we have that we keep personal data about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MineOS?

We like everything about Mine. I really hope they’ll continue to automate everything related to privacy, in any aspect. Just automation automation automation (and more features that regard automation) will be fantastic for our company. We don’t have time to deal with privacy :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MineOS solving and how is that benefiting you?

DSR, DSAR and other privacy requests management is now fully automated, so we don’t waste time on it. Same for consent management and data mapping (we used to run spreadsheets). It’s incredible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hey Dorin! Your review literally blew our minds. Thank you so much for your kind words. If you'll have any suggestions for improvement, please let us know!
