OneDrive combines intuitiveness, ease of use and pleasant navigation in a cloud file storage platform. It is very easy to upload files to this platform, it is also easy to access them, share them with other users and make modifications if necessary. The best is in its integrations, it synchronizes perfectly with other Microsoft tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a cloud-based platform, you need to have Internet at all times to access the files, extract them and even make changes to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and it allows you to share files and documents easily specially on environments where files size restrictions are implemented. It does perform well compared to some generic file hosting tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though the tool itself is good enough in most cases, I still feel there are bigger competitors who does the job more effeciently and smoothly. It is easy to use but it takes time getting used to specially if you have migrated from using other major tool like this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

microsoft onedrive has attractive features but it comes at a slighty high price. Personally, i think that some features of office applications should be there in every subscription Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am loving using it . It has plethora of features for meeting the needs of any organisation . It just makes file and document sharing quite easy . It saves our time with its flawless functioning .The security and ease of use is what really appreciated . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike could be that i was unable to use the complete potential from the platform . In new system it tends to be a bit more time taking than it takes it in frequent used computer . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clunky mobile application. Limited controls around On-WiFi/On-3G synchronization settings. Features like version control and deletion restriction are not enabled by default or not straightforward to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Accessibility. Ease of use. Collaboration. Functionality. Visibility. Ability to update multiple document types. Ability to provide full access to some users and view only access to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Changes that can be made to sections of documents that I do not want to be changed. I would like to be able to lock certain parts of documents while allowing others to be modified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My team and I find the connectivity features with other products and 3rd parties to be one of the best features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Microsoft's design and overall set up is to try and be a 1 stop shop for all your needs. This isn't usually the case for most companies. Sometimes it oversteps into processes it shouldn't. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease and integration of cloud storage, process documentation, visuals, presentations, documenting, project management, etc all in one secure space. We use it for managing all materials, processes, protocols, and project management tools for academic human/health research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are occasional issues with time lagging when switching between programs and files. But generally, this has decreased over time. Management of which users have access to which folders, documents, etc, can also be a little tricky if you are trying to regulate this tightly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The first best thing about One Drive is that we can securely store data and information in the cloud. Also, we can access any files from anywhere at any time. Just need to provide access to it and with the link and access, we can share the drive link as well.
The second thing is no storage on a local device no problem just upload everything on One Drive large or small files size it will keep it securely and we can also share it with others. We can also sync it onto the local drive which won't be changing anything on One drive. also, it has a sync back feature if we want to use it. It will sync back everything whatever changes you had made to information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It just has limited offline access so just to overcome it if we can do something then it will be too good for us. Lack of third-party integrations for business license. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With Microsoft one drive we can share our documents across multiple devices and OS.
With integration to Microsoft one note, accessing/sharing documents becomes seamless.
There are features like, shared or locked, to share or to keep documents to yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For sharing documents you will not be having any complaints, but when it comes to sharing recordings or videos, then you might feel tight on the free space it provides.
For larger documents, it might take some time to load on new devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
