What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Being able to share and access documents from co-workers across the country is great. It is a safe and secure program that requests permission to access so it can be limited to a certain group or individual for users. The files are quick and easy to access and do not require much navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

There could be some work on the layout to customize the items and programs shown. I do like you can filter what is owned by you and what is shared, but being able to hide certain items that should just be on the hard drive would be awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft SharePoint is an excellent collaboration platform that enhances team productivity by enabling easy sharing and management of documents and resources. Its robust integration with Microsoft 365 allows seamless collaboration with other tools like Teams and Outlook, making workflows more efficient. SharePoint’s customizable features enable organizations to create tailored sites that fit their specific business needs and enhance user experience. The software's strong security and compliance measures help protect sensitive information while facilitating safe sharing among team members. Additionally, SharePoint's ability to support remote work fosters a flexible work environment, empowering employees to collaborate effectively from anywhere. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One notable disadvantage of Microsoft SharePoint is its complexity, which can lead to a steep learning curve for new users. The software’s vast array of features and customization options may overwhelm teams, requiring significant time and resources for training and implementation. Additionally, if not properly managed, SharePoint can become cluttered and disorganized, making it difficult for users to find the information they need. The reliance on a stable internet connection can also pose challenges for organizations with limited connectivity, potentially disrupting access to critical resources. Lastly, licensing costs and the overall expense of maintaining the platform can be prohibitive for smaller businesses or organizations with tighter budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

Ever since I started using Microsoft SharePoint as part of my features, I've been amazed at how intuitive and easy to use it is thanks to its user-friendly graphical interface. Managing my team's content and projects has become a streamlined task, especially when synchronizing files from different devices. Also, it allows file sharing with different levels of access, improving collaboration. With a couple of clicks, I can upload, organize and share documents in no time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

I have no major complaints, however, if I could suggest an improvement, it would be to include a specific folder or section for most visited or recent documents and thus save some valuable seconds in the search process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
