What do you like best about Metaview?

Whether you’re a veteran or a newbie, Metaview’s coaching can make you a better interviewer. For experienced interviewers, it reinforces things and makes you much more cognizant of things you’ve probably picked up along the way e.g. interview structure and introductions. Metaview has made it possible for my team to keep up with our hiring needs. We were very worried about diluting the talent in our company because we had to hire so many people in such a short amount of time to keep up with demand. What do you like best about Metaview?

The feedback is highly specific to your recent interviews and completely actionable. Metaview took words I said, identified why they were suboptimal and then suggested a more concise, effective alternate phrasing. What do you dislike about Metaview?

My organization is using another tool (Greenhouse) to manage scorecards (the set of questions to ask and the behaviors we're grading on). I'd love to have these interview "playbooks" incorporated directly into Metaview - so Metaview can grade me and other interviewers at my org on how well I'm sticking to the script (pacing, insights, etc) and make it easy to incorporate improvements into this template. What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Improving interview effectiveness with more concise questions that get better insight. Especially helped with ESL interviews by encouraging me to cut down word count and improve clarity of questions

What do you like best about Metaview?

With most of my work I like to take data driven approaches to decisions I make. I have always felt that this data driven approach has been missing in the interview process. With Metaview I am now confident that I am making the best decision possible with each hire, using the conversational data and interview coaching to continuously improve my interviewing skills / decisions. Many candidates which we didn’t consider a fit were making it through to the latter stages of our interview process, but without data we had no real insight into why this was happening. Metaview’s transcripts, conversational data and coaching has helped my team get to the bottom of some of these questions and begin to really calibrate our interviewers on what a good hire looks like. What do you like best about Metaview?

I love how Metaview makes my team better interviewers in so many different ways. The transcripts mean they can really focus on the interview itself, without worrying about capturing every word in their notes. This was one of the main reasons I got Metaview. But the Coaching has been such an added benefit that it almost supersedes the original purpose! I wish I leveraged the coaching more from the beginning. I just got a couple of coach seats at the start because I mainly wanted transcripts. It was so useful though that I ended up opting to coach much more of my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

I get final say on hiring decisions in my team but I wasn’t getting enough information from interviews to make confident hiring decisions. Often the notes were too sparse to get a good feel for the candidate. I couldn’t tell if this was because the interviewer didn’t get a good read or if they just weren’t able to write everything down in time. Asking the interviewer would fill in some of these gaps, but they would often be colored by subjectivity. Metaview allows me to have an objective view of our candidates. What do you like best about Metaview?

The product is incredibly easy to implement. I can hold my interviews with the confidence that Metaview will be on the call and I can listen back to my transcript. The Metaview team is very responsive on Slack if we ever need to ask them anything.

Up to now only a few people have been making use of the coaching feature. We’ve recently switched to dynamic coaching, where Metaview coaches different people overtime, so I’m looking forward to seeing how that benefits the whole team.

What do you like best about Metaview?

I can’t go back to life without Metaview. I’d resigned myself to splitting my attention between writing interview notes and actually conducting the interview. I would be so preoccupied with writing down all the crucial information that I would often miss half the crucial information. We had several stages in our interview process, but we were still finding that we weren’t getting all the pertinent information from the candidates to make an informed decision. We didn’t want to add more stages because we’d already seen candidates drop off after a few stages. Metaview has allowed us to make every interview count. What do you like best about Metaview?

There’s so much data that would be completely unavailable to us without Metaview. With the bank of transcripts we have recorded, we’re easily able to uncover all kinds of interesting insights about how different teams are hiring and generally how consistent we are across the board. Metaview also helps improve our hiring managers interviewing skills which the team talks about positively. It's all in all a great tool to include as part of your interview tech stack. Metaview is incredibly powerful at training your team to conduct the best interviews possible. With its continuous coaching and advice, you're always able to see gaps in your interview skills, and with its transcription function, you're able to learn best practice from the rest of your team. What do you like best about Metaview?

I like how seamless it is. After I signed up, I didn’t even have to think about it anymore. It just worked. Then I started to receive feedback that I found was quite simple to action in my next interviews. It’s also been extra useful a few times where I disagreed on a decision with another member of the team and we were able to review the recordings, rather than debate. What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview has been a breath of fresh air! With Metaview, it’s so much

more fluid to manage our interviewer training and shadowing programs.

We’ve successfully trained over 100 interviewers on the platform, and it’s
