Metaview has become a valuable platform for both recruiters and hiring managers to help them focus on running great interviews, while also providing evidence to back-up any contentious hiring decisions in the team. The thing I like best is probably the seamlessness with which the team implemented the product. It was pretty much no work on our end, and we were up and running in no time. We also really value being able to learn from each other's interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing massively stands out, but deeper integrations with lever or other ATS would make this even better! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the Shadow Paths feature Metaview offers. I had aggressive targets for headcount growth, and was spending an increasing amount of time conducting interviews and not being able to focus on engineering work. Shadow Paths meant that I could confidently onboard new interviewers quickly to help me manage the increasing interview load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t have much to say, any issues I had were resolved quickly. We are rolling out to more users so will be interested to see how this scales across the rest of the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Metaview has been awesome for our team! Firstly, we can all be present in interviews by focusing on the conversation instead of taking verbatim notes for later — Metaview's transcript is surprisingly high quality, and it seems to noticeably get better over time. More importantly, Metaview continuously gives everyone on the team personalised feedback, which means the quality of our hiring is not declining over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's been great so far. We’ve loved the product so far and the team’s always available to hear feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Firstly, onboarding new interviewers and keeping the team consistent becomes much easier when you have a corpus of recent examples to use. You can also review and shadow new interviewers and provide feedback asynchronously.
Secondly, once you get to towards offer stage, you can review all previous interviews and use this to make better hiring decisions. This feels like a great way to milk as much value out of the hard-spent time my team has made interviewing candidates. It means I'm less concerned about being involved early on in the interview process because I have a way of familiarising myself with candidates later on. This final point is what I like the most about Metaview! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We’ve only used Metaview for the engineering team. I’d love for it to become common across the company so we can share best practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not only do they listen to my feedback, they are also very quick to act upon it. They always get to the heart of the issue that I have and come up with highly effective solutions. The product never stays stagnant as they're constantly looking to add more value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No issues to report really; they’re attentive enough that everything gets resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can slice and dice our data in so many different ways to get interesting insights. For example, I’m able to compare candidates who rejected our offers with candidates who accepted to see if there are any correlations I can find. There are so many different ways I can customize these comparisons, and the Metaview UI makes it so easy to trial these out and save my favorites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The real limitation is with our ATS rather than Metaview. It integrates so seamlessly with our ATS, but we don’t always feed in all the right information there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adding in new interviewers and being automatically notified of their progress -- no need to manually track interviewer progress or pop into the platform for routine check-ins. It’s also really handy being able to tag my colleagues to sections of the transcripts that I think they’d find beneficial to make their decision. I can also copy snippets of the interview, either just as text or including a link to the recording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn’t directly measure candidate experience e.g. by getting their feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Metaview is I don’t need to pay as much attention to writing notes during my interviews. I can focus way more on the interview itself, knowing that I have the recordings to back up any gaps in my notes. This leads to a much better candidate experience and makes for a more thorough interview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some candidates are very sensitive about data privacy, so I wish there was a interviewee UI where they could read more and manage their own data. Also occasionally we have candidates apply for multiple roles and their titles get switched in the UI. It's still easy to search by name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate how straightforward and to the point the platform is for tracking our interviewers in training. I can visibly see which interviewer is undergoing which stage in their training process without monitoring them as I did before manually. As our company was rapidly expanding, our interviewer team was also on the rise. It was gradually becoming difficult to be the sole individual managing their training process and Metaview helped automate a part of the process for me. This helped save me time on following up with each trainee individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I particularly dislike at the moment. Any issues I would face, it'd be easy to bring it up to the Metaview team to help resolve them. They are pretty approachable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how seamlessly Metaview integrates into our recruiting workflows. From my perspective, as an interviewer, Metaview just works without me having to do anything. Getting personalized feedback after each interview is by far what I like best because it's super actionable. The product has really helped me develop as an interviewer. I don't currently dislike anything about Metaview. It works precisely as I'd expect it to, and the Metaview team is highly responsive to feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
