What do you like best about Metaview?

I love that you can make custum templates that will extract only the relivant information from the transcripts.

It is very easy to use and to get implemented.

The AI is very good at summarieing conversations into bite sized chunks.

You are able to compare multiple conversations and they have added anew feature where you can custom search all your conversations to find specific information which is great when it comes to monthly reporting.

It intergrates with PinPoint and auto joins any interviews I have.

My account manager (Cameron Goldie-Scot), is awesome and is always on hand for any support I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

Sometimes, the AI bot stuggles when someone with an accent is on a call.

We have it intergrated with PinPoint, but sometimes it randomly disconnects without warning and will not join/record the interviews it should (however, the support team are very responsive and always fix issues quickly). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

It takes away the pressure of writting notes in interviews and briefing calls. So I am able to give my full attention to whom ever I am speaking to. Also it makes sharing interview notes 100x easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview has been a game-changer in my role, saving me so much time and significantly improving my efficiency and productivity. It’s incredibly easy to use and allows me to stay fully engaged in conversations without worrying about note-taking, I know everything is captured accurately. If I ever need to revisit a discussion, I can simply listen back, eliminating any concerns about missing or mishearing details.

What truly sets Metaview apart is its ability to present notes in a well-structured, professional, and factual manner, free from bias or personal opinion. It does a far better job than I ever could in just a few seconds, making my workflow smoother and more effective.

It was also seamless to connect to my ATS, and the data transfers automatically and immediately, saving even more time.

I use Metaview daily, sometimes multiple times a day, and when I’ve had any questions or issues, their customer support has been incredibly responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

I have nothing to dislike about Metaview! It has been an incredibly useful tool in streamlining my workflow and improving efficiency.

That said, as with any AI tool, it’s important to apply personal judgment when reviewing candidate suitability to ensure a well-rounded and informed hiring decision.

While AI-generated notes and insights provide a valuable foundation, factors such as cultural fit, nuanced soft skills, and contextual understanding still require human assessment. AI enhances the process, but the final decision should always be guided by experience, expertise, and a deep understanding of the role and organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

We were initially skeptical of the product, but it was typical for anyone new to using AI at work. We used Metaview within the HR team and eventually rolled it out to the testing business users. Now, we offer the tool to everyone in our organization! We kept getting praise about how easy it was to use Metaview and how easy it was to mold the raw scripts into the format that we would find helpful. Another highlight is the Metaview team - we had a great experience with the Sales Manager and then the Implementation Manager. We are happy to report that the Sales Manager said the tool would offer what the implementation manager could deliver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

Nothing I can think of. Even the pricing is very reasonable, so I don't have anything 'dislike' about the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

We trained our interviewers well. Almost everyone in the company had done the interview before. However, taking notes was brutual. Users would either take LOTS OF notes or no notes at all. Users also told HR that they were afraid of not taking 'good notes'. What we care the most is the objective observation of the candidates. No one will look at the notes again after the person is hired. Metaview solved our notes-taking problem, and gave HR some great talent intelligence. We are so pleased with Metaview. What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview is a game changer for me, especially because I often interview candidates in German, which is not my native language. I can't always write notes fast enough and realize I miss some of what they are saying. I love that I can go back into the assistant and ask specific questions about topics discussed with the candidate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

It mixes up languages. When I do interviews in German, it gives me my interview notes in English. This could just be something that I need to change in the settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me give complete transparency to my clients. I offer the clients snippets to view bits of the interview. Some clients use just these, others watch the whole interview. Most clients love this aspect. It gives our clients deeper insights into how the candidates communicate, their personalities, their professional presence.

For me personally, it helps me to create my executive summary and list strengths + weakness to send to my clients, when presenting candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview has made my job as Tech Recruiter much easier and now I am more productive, before Metaview doing my notes on the standard of my organization took me between 1 to 2 hours, now with Metaview my notes are ready in 5 minutes. I love that Metaview doesn't make assumptions and the notes are according to what I talked about with candidates, there are many templates to use, but you can also create your template according to your needs, it has an AI assistant, where you can ask about the topics you cover in your call. I love the interface it is very intuitive. When I was trying the free version I recommended to all my friends to use this, and when my lead announced we had access to the paid version, I was the most happy woman in the world. What do you dislike about Metaview?

Nothing, I love everything about Metaview Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

Metaview is helping me to do notes from my calls with candidates before this took me between 1 to 2 hours per candidate, and now it is taking me 5 minutes, which allows me to have more interviews during the day.

It also helps to have better-quality of my notes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

Metaview is an absolute recruitment game changer in my eyes. The time it saves to detail word by word concise notes and translate the notes into various categories to easily relay to a hiring manager makes life much easier. I wish I had this tool 10 years ago. My interviews used to be disrupted by my typing every word into interview sections and having to parse my notes was time consuming. This saves a ton of time and is a necessity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

Nothing so far stands out as a dislike, very intuitive and easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the most impressive aspects of Metaview is its seamless integration with ATS platforms and other hiring tools, making it easy to incorporate into existing workflows. The accuracy of the AI-generated summaries is remarkable, reducing the risk of bias and ensuring hiring decisions are backed by data-driven insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

I love that I can really focus on engaging with the candidate and what they are saying, while Metaview does the heavy lifting for me. I am also impressed with the quality of the notes considering we interview lots of people who don't have English as a first language. It is easy to use and works seemlessly with Teams. I use it for online interviews and face to face. I also like that I can go back into the assistant and ask specific questions about topics we discussed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

No downsides - it is performing really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

Poor quality notes taken by interviewers, no more trying to decipher handwritten notes or typing in interviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

We really appreciate how this product enhances our ability to make objective hiring decisions. By allowing us to revisit past conversations, it helps us verify information rather than relying solely on memory, which adds a layer of fairness to our process. It's also versatile—we can use it not just for interviews, but for kick-off and debrief calls as well, which makes it a valuable tool throughout the hiring process. Additionally, we’ve noticed continuous improvements, like the recently enhanced filters, which make it even easier to gather insights and assess interview performance.

We’re also extremely impressed with the client support—it’s truly second to none. Whenever we have a question, the team responds quickly and is always helpful, making us feel well-supported. Additionally, it’s fantastic to see our feedback being taken on board and implemented swiftly with each product update. This responsiveness really sets the product apart and makes us feel like valued partners in its development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

One challenge we’ve encountered with the product is the manual effort required when it’s used to capture internal calls or meetings with multiple participants. In these cases, we often have to go in and manually tag each speaker, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, while the AI functionalities are quite helpful, they still require some human oversight to ensure the outputs are fully accurate and capture all the necessary details. For example, when using tools like the AI Assistant, additional prompts may be needed to get the most comprehensive results, which adds an extra step to the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

Metaview is solving several key challenges in our hiring process, making a noticeable impact on our efficiency and decision-making. First, it allows us to focus entirely on the conversation without needing to take manual notes, which helps us engage better with candidates. The ability to revisit conversations afterward is also invaluable—it ensures that our hiring decisions are based on objective information rather than memory, promoting fairness in our evaluations.

Another major benefit is how Metaview enables us to compare interviews against each other, creating a benchmark for assessing candidates consistently against our needs. The Filters functionality is also a powerful tool; it lets us flag specific topics across conversations, such as competitive salary trends or whether candidates mention ongoing interview processes with other companies. This proactive insight helps us act promptly on critical information that might otherwise go unnoticed, ensuring we stay competitive and don’t miss out on great talent. What do you like best about Metaview?

I use Metaview to capture interview notes as a Recruiting Leader. The note-taking capabilities are very accurate and it is very easy to sync Metaview with your calendar when scheduling (we use G-Suite) as well as your ATS (we use Ashby). I also appreciate the ability to summarize and condense notes after the conversation and the post-call analysis.

The support team is great, and they are constantly innovating and enhancing the functionality to best support their users.

I use it daily for my phone screen and panel interviews and it was very simple too set up and implement out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

There are some minor inaccuracies which you would come to expect from an AI-tool, otherwise, there are no significant flaws to the product.

As with any tool that captures personal information during interviews, there can be pushback both internally and with candidates opting in to Metaview recording that information. It would be great if there was future detection of sensitive/protected information so that it can mask or edit out that content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a recruiter, Metaview helps me as a user to focus on the conversation with candidates without having to capture notes simultaneously and miss key things that are being said. I can summarize feedback notes very easily and quickly and record a comprehensive overview of my conversations and then analyze anything that can be improved or replicated in future calls. What do you like best about Metaview?

Without Metaview, I wouldn’t want to do any interviews! For a mere "funny money" investment of $20-60 a month, I get to enjoy pleasant chats with candidates without lifting a finger—well, almost!

This clever chatbot waltzes into every interview on its own (no invites needed, it syncs right from my calendar and is connected to the ATS). It takes notes, records video (in 32 languages, mind you!), and is like Fireflies, but supercharged for interviews. It even whips up a lightning-fast analysis and report based on my criteria.

I've got a preset report structure for the hiring manager that it fills out right after the interview (salary, motivation, why them?), I just add a sprinkle of cultural/team fit insights, and in 2-5 minutes, I have a polished email ready for the hiring manager. If I have any follow-up questions, I just ask the chatbot and boom—I’ve got the answer in a second! It’s an enormous help, everything in one place. It lets me conduct interviews from anywhere without a computer or notebook. I definitely don’t want to go back! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

Too good to be true! But you should be aware of many advantages sum up in this funny video: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/metaview-technologies_we-know-you-have-a-lot-of-things-to-think-activity-7119696191356850177-jVNh/ I just love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

- the quality of interviews is much higher as the meeting could be much more professional, personal, and deeper

- I could find all important information afterward, so any information will be lost, so any unconscious bias mistakes

- it saves me a lot of hours per week by making my candidate reports in a second in a very professional way, and saves time for my managers, if they cannot attend the meeting, they can just watch the interview or read the transcript

- embrace sharing the most important information within the hiring team, if many interviewers are part of the panel, they won´t repeat the same questions

- it´s a win-win for business as well as for candidates. We´ve never had any negative feedback from the candidates or managers about the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Metaview?

As an Agency Recruiter I've found a lot of value in using Metaview for Pre-screen interviews, post-client interview feedback calls, and for references too. I like that you can create templates to pull and summarise the information from the call that you want and you can create custom template using natural language prompts. I use the TLDR function in formulating my candidate writeups to hiring managers. I can go back and find other information if needed and nothing from the call is missed. I have used the call verbal snippets function to send small parts of a call to a candidate or a hiring manager as additional verification of something too. After calling a candidate and discussing at length their considerations about a job offer I made quick template to highlight what the hiring manager should do to address all the candidate's drivers in terms of taking an offer. So its quite versatile I find, and the use cases are saving time, ensuring all relevant information is there when needed, and I can transparently and proactively share things that can help a hiring process progress when it could otherwise stall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metaview?

I want to be able to specify the gender of callers on call types that are Job Interview. Currently, you can only do this for calls that are Job Intrerview call types. Instead of calling everyone they I just change the call type to Job Interview and I can then assign speaker genders accordingly.

I want better text formatting within Metaview, e.g. making things bold or adding white space in the text outputs etc.

It would be good if you could make an export function in word that links to company templates and branding so outputs can be more quickly shared, edited in word (mainly for formatting), and quckly shared with a company branded document rather than a metaview brnaded pdf where I am unhappy with the text formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Metaview solving and how is that benefiting you?

Decreasing note taking time.

Making sure all the information from calls is there to be used and it can be referenced later too.

Decreased time to write up consultants comments on cv's, provide more comprehensive post-interview feedback, get references done very quickly, and provide more transparent communication of what a candidate or hiring manager said to the other party to get people on the same page quicker and with less follow up needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
