memoQ is a reliable and user-friendly tool that has significantly improved our global translation workflow. It is dependable, thorough, and efficient, making complex projects easier to manage. As memoQ continues to evolve with both our needs and technological advancements, we see it as a long-term companion capable of handling increasingly complex translation tasks. Its versatility and constant updates ensure it remains a key asset in our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We experienced some synchronization issues with the new 11.x version when working with large projects with many files, which involves removing local data and rechecking projects out. We would like to receive clearer explanation regarding specific issues we experience, besides providing us with general fixes which do not seem to apply to our case. This would help users understand and potentially resolver problems on their own, reducing the support team’s and our workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MemoQ has been our primary CAT tool since 2010, and it has helped us to centralize all our data and know-how, and we use it on a daily basis. The layout is easy to understand (ofline and online), and with the help of the floating licenses, our freelance linguists can also benefit from its use. If there is a problem, the support team is always available through a dedicated portal, and they always try to find the best solution, whether it is urgent or a general issue. We are very happy with MemoQ and continue using it as one of our main assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We generally like MemoQ very much. No downside that I can mention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my organisation the use of memoQ is not daily, so I appreciate the easy access to the platform. memoQ has an intuitive and user friendly layout making navigation straightforward, meaning that I can jump right into my tasks without wasting time figuring how it works.

MemoQ offers advanced settings and customization options for working with different project workflows and file formats. The translation grid provides all the necessary options and information for translators or localization engineers. We also like the in-country review feature which is easy to use.
From our experience the memoQ customer support is usually able to help in a short time on a very wide range of issues and cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes bigger projects are slower to work with, the client interface looks a bit outdated, insufficient integration with tools like Jira, Bitbucket, unable to use reference screenshots for software strings and we would also welcome a more complex and manageable user management options. There is no negative side of MemoQ that I could mention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
memoQ has been the standard CAT/TMS solution for a while in our industry, and for a good reason. Exceptional out of the box support for third party integrations, as well as offering a good API surface for custom integration and extensibility. The workflows possible with this tool is much harder to achieve (or simply just not available) in other alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Permissions management has room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
