Melissa in-network respnse times are in the single digit milliseconds consistently. Their api is easy to work with. We get a lot of actionable information about addresses, phones, and emails. Only one quibble: lack of a test database. We regression test every code change, multiple times a day. It would be great to have a mini-sized db to test the interface against instead of having to download and image the entire multi-gigabyte database for every test run.
