What do you like best about MediaCentral l Asset Management?

It is a very solid product, very stable developed and provides the functionality it was designed for. We are already using the new version: Media Central. It is an integrated workflow solution that provides advanced media asset management that we use for all areas of the company, News, Entertainment and Sports. What do you dislike about MediaCentral l Asset Management?

The topology is very complex and difficult to support. Transfers are not as fast as users would like. The user interface is acceptable but could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MediaCentral l Asset Management?

What I like best in that it consolidates all your media and makes finding particular files you are looking fast and easy. You can automate workflows. It can integrate with other Avid and 3rd party programs. It allows users to easily collaborate on projects. A shared online workstation so users can access information in real time. The transfer rates that enable quick upload and download of media files are on the slow side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What we use this for is workflow designing. This this solution, admins and supervisors can design workflows for their teams that can automate certain functions.
