Chargify was easy to implement and integrate with Wufoo, and their customer support is responsive to urgent issues. We can also set up recurring donations to all occur on the same day, which really streamlines our batch reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Chargify is only an intermediary - acting as the credit card processor for our online giving platform. While the current set up is workable and low-cost, we would rather have a platform that can do it all - host web forms AND process the transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a very simple set up process for recurring payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting is very limited for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was easy to implement and we have found the managment of our user accounts very simple and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing we really have come across yet that we find as a showstopper.
Although easily changing the look and feel of the purchase page (where the customer enters their credit card info) is limited and hard to keep in a manner close to our brand guidelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Chargify is a great service to handle all of your SAAS billing needs. We've been using Chargify for the last three years, and it's worked perfectly during this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we started with Chargify three years ago, they were missing some key features, but since then they've added all the features we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Chargify really does make it easy to manage my subscriptions for my SAAS company. I can set pricing for subscriptions and ala carte items by many parameters. Its a breeze to create to new products on the fly also.
Although the analytics are a bit basic, they give me the high level detail I need in a very accessible way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unlike products like Stripe, Chargify must be connected to a payment gateway. It would be really great if I could manage my subscriptions and payments from the same application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Chargify has an extremely user friendly platform. I like the dashboard view allows us to see Revenue Performance and Sign Ups from first glance. The reporting is pretty neat as well. It is very easy to do the things we do on a daily basis--issue refund, update customer and billing information, alter and adjust subscriptions, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much that I dislike about Chargify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The speed and security of the platform
- The light CRM elements that aided issue tracking for our accounts and retention managers
- Macro reports on the dashboard allowed us to easily 'check the pulse' of our growing revenue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- We were not using the Salesforce integration because it was limited in functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Chargify is more complete than many other subscription management services.
- Email integrations
- Detailed data about subscribers/subscriptions
- Huge choice of payment gateways and processors
- Support for ecommerce merchants - different than most saas billing platforms
Great support:
- The founder of the company answers most sales calls and blog comments
- Most requested features get built first Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing is higher than other alternatives, but they don't take a percentage of sales like most of their competitors.

- API is intuitive and easy to implement
- Also supports hosted web pages for quick deployment
- Decent feature support for various subscription models
- Responsive support
- Nice merchant control panel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Does not support subscriptions with future start dates using direct post payment forms
- Does not natively support future one-time charges using direct post payment forms
- A bit pricey compared to some competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Full featured platform, including multiple environments, products and customizable options. And test mode! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricier than alternatives, and the management UI can be confusing, since there are so many options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
