The automatic invoicing system is too helpful to save time and get more efficiency collecting money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features like advanced workflows that needs to be integrated as an additional feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the product catalogue, and the ease of processing payments and refunds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is extremely slow. I've never used it where I didnt have to wait less than a minute for the screen to load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how it saves reports and I can see what reports others have generated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slow to load anything and slow to export to excel. I have also had trouble logging in and had to reset my password. Login takes way too long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform does a good job of differentiating between billing, revenue, and MRR/ARR - which is great for SaaS companies as accounting systems such as Quickbooks can't do that natively as easily. There are a ton of reports and the connections to our CRM (Salesforce) and our accounting system (QB online) work pretty well. Their customer support is through a ticketing system so not live but they are very helpful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting features can be a little cumbersome to work with, there isn't a great way to capture unique contract details for customers, there's no SSP or ASC 606 rev req unless you pay extra, and there is a ton of manual work to "enahnce" data coming in from the CRM and going out to the accounting system. Would be great if there was more automation for things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Esy to navigate and reliable.I use it everyday Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Needs more options for invoices. Would like more options to add fields for invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Create invoices for multiple years and auto renews Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it is complicated AND HARD TO use, HARD TO TRAIN OTHERS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, the ability to learn more through the courses, reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like a bigger range of custom reports and automation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to make billing schedules for contracts in robust and helpful. The ARR & MRR reporting also has few competitors. The expenses recognition side can also be helpful although it needs some updates and is easily replaced by Quickbooks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Training is severly lacking. Learning Maxio has been quiet tough. I have administrative level knowledge of many Saas platforms but this one has had the worst learning experience by far. The UI is awful. It is not intuitive at all and the use of certain words like "transaction" are so different from how they are normally used that it causes confusion. It really needs a major UI and platform update to be more user friendly.
Honestly, if Maxio had a Quickbooks add-on instead of a seperate platform I would enjoy that much more. Since Maxio is not robust enough to live in it, it creates a third platform between Hubspot and Maxio to go into causing extra time. Its the feel of a clunky outdated ERP with the functionatlity of an add on service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Maxio allows us to efficiently complete our daily, monthly, and yearly accounting tasks with their straightfoward and easy-to-use platform. Maxio integrates with our other software seamlessly and allows us to be hands off. Getting it implemented into our daily use was easy and if there are any issues the customer support team is quick to provide us with an answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a small issue with our Advanced Billing integration where the invoices that have completed Dunning are not producing a credit memo and requires manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like being able to have many different business entities under the same organization log in. A lot of other accounting software platforms don't support this and it's a nightmare Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's overpriced.
No consolidated reporting for different entities is a loss, as it somewhat defeats the purpose of having multiple entities under the same organization
Many businesses have child entities, so I'm surprised this feature is so hard to find Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
