Everything is faily straight forward once you get into the system and get used to it. Everything is always in the system so its about "searching criteria". I love that there are multiple tool at your finger tips to get help if something isn't right or if you are lost. The customer service and the Cafe are so helpful and easy to navigate. We've been using MasterControl Quality Management System for some time now, and it has truly transformed the way we handle compliance, document control, and overall quality processes. MasterControl provides a well-developed document management system. Their team strives to improve and grow their product. They provide numerous configuration options to cover potential areas where customers may want to expand the software. The modular software allows adding only the features that are needed. Most of the software is centered around life sciences and the medical industry. This leads to the inclusion of many more checks and balances in the system than we require as a manufacturer that only seeks to meet to ISO 9001. My favorite thing about MasterControl is the Process Module; I love building eForms for the company to use instead of paper forms. The excel template was scary at first, but I love figuring out how to put keywords in the template to make the eForm even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Probably JR Reports; I wish there were a way to combine two reports simultaneously. For example, the Change Control report in MasterControl has two different Reports depending on when the new template was created. Since the Infocard numbers are different, the Reports can't combine. What I dislike MasterControl QMS because some modules are easy to understand, and others require more time and workarounds to bring the system up to speed for particular company needs. Using MasterControl has given our company a sense of freedom where documents are being held in one place giving everyone a one system hub instead of searching in multiple places. Certain features are limited in configurability, e.g., electronic form design/logic and document/audit workflows. Because it was originally designed as a document management system, there are "InfoCards" or essentially documents for everything, e.g., Trainees and Trainers. The system is built on a robust nfrastructure. Having worked for another eQMS vendor, I know (painstakingly) how challenging it can be to build a configurable product that can support various industries AND ensure it operates reliably in a rapidly evolving technical environment. As a quality/regulatory professional in healthcare - this is absolutely essential and foundational to ensure the products and services we offer consistently meet high standards. All of the support and features MasterControl offers allows companies to leave most of the software lifecycle requirements to the experts so we can focus on what we do best - developing and manufacturing products to help patients.
