With assistance from ETQ staff our company was able to customize the modules to meet our needs making use of advanced configuration. The similarities in form layout and structure between modules makes it easy to adopt across many processes and users feel comfortable using the system. This makes the adoption rate seamless. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** I do not see any drawbacks at this point. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance):** ETQ Reliance is easy to navigate, has excellent reference documentation and very timely technical support. **What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the help of Reliance, we are moving away from a heavy paper based system to an electronic system that users across the country can use 24/7 in order to perform their work. We have implemented CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action), QEM module (Quality Event Management), Change Control, Document Management, Adverse Transfusion Reaction and are in the process of working with an ETQ IC for Donor Adverse Events module. ### 20. It actually assists us to make our corrective and preventive measures lean in the aspect of implementation and closure. We are able to keep track of the non-conformances and even trace them back to the root cause analysis easily. The other massive advantage is the integrated document control system. It also makes sure that everyone is at all times using up-to-date approved copies. This has made the audit preparations so easy. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** The complexity of the setup is one of my greatest dislikes about ETQ Reliance QMS. It took us a lot of time and effort to get all setup to our specific work flows. The user interface also takes more or less outdated at times. It is not as obvious as some of the newer cloud based apps. Although it works, it certainly has a steeper learning curve than the new users. **What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?** ETQ Reliance QMS is resolving our first big issue fragmented, manual quality. Prior to that we had lots and lots of shared drives plus spreadsheets. There was a mad scramble of papers to follow an issue all the way through the customers complaint to a finished CAPA. We have everything centralized and connected, all our quality data is in ETQ Reliance. This implies that we only have a source of truth on everything. The collaboration between teams has been improved whereby everyone can update and access quality processes through the system. It is user-friendly and provides a single source of information for the company's quality data. Since upgrading from Verse, there have been several improvements that make the system more and more worth the work that goes into the setup and maintenance. Recently, newer enhancements in Reliance CG (2020 and up) have made the system more bug-free and designer-friendly. The number of support tickets we need to create has decreased significantly from 2019 to now. The software's ability to handle advanced configurations and integrate with external software has made it all the more valuable. Flexibility is a large plus: if you know how to utilize ETQ Script, you can make the system do virtually anything. Additionally, once you purchase RC (Remote Configuration) hours, the support team is very helpful when implementing unique configurations or applications. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** ETQ Reliance is a powerful tool, but it still has its limitations. These limitations mostly appear on the designer side: while it is user-friendly, it is not always designer-friendly. My main pet peeve as a designer/administrator is that every time we update or patch, something else in the system seems to break. It has made me very cautious of upgrades. Some design limitations may make it so that users need to use annoying workarounds, such as needing to close two separate forms for one process. While being customizeable, it also provides an ease of use to create these workflows and custom forms with ease. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** My personal gripe with EtQ is the difference between their CG and NXG version. Although i compeltely understand the reasoning for focusing on their clpud versiom (NXG), due to cpmpany requurements, it is likely that we will be unable to migrate over to NXG in the future. I love to see the updates being made to NXG, but am a little disappointed that some of those lovely settings/upgrades wont be coming to CG. **What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that EtQ is solving is the ability to manage and revision control documents. Providing multi language functionality. We can easily create new documents, new views, new work flows. Also, it is providing best user authentication functionality with groups. It is providing easy way to customize access profile for rest/sap web services. We can create multiple localization files to view content in local language for logged users. We can check current logged user and make them logout by forcefully during critical time. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** It is not allowing to update closed document without routing to open phase using new REST/SAP web services. Sometime syncing base localization file in localization profile, it gives error that "It is already in use". During the view creation sometime when we drag and drop column it is gives error like column design name is not available, we have to work with EtQ support to clear cache and restart instance to resolve issue. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance):** We have prepared custom web services using ETQ RESTFUL services to send data of client to ETQ. Using it we are creating new complaints and investigation activities in Complaints schema. Also, we are creating new material in material profile in "Supplier, Materials and Chemicals" module. Using new web services we are managing 1000+ complaints and product of clients.
