What do you like best about Martus?

At first, the interface is quite user friendly and it comes with rich dashboards that makes budgeting much simpler. The pictoral representation of the data enables the finance team to represent and understand the financial transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Martus?

One part is that the changes are not auto save like excel, so there are cbances of losing data. Apart from that, i like all the feafure as compared to excel for budgeting purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Martus solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem that it solved is the dependancy in excel for all the finance and budgeting related work. The graphs and dashboards are rich and hence provides a better visualisations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Martus?

I like couple of stuffs but would highlight the below point :

1. It comes with a good out of the box dashboard that is very much user friendly and hence makes the budgeting much easier.

2. You can restrict users to access data depending on their role and responsibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Martus?

I don't dislike anything at this point of time as it is purely a cloud based solution that offers real time data and bundled dashboard for visualisatios. The customer support is also pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Martus solving and how is that benefiting you?

As far as Fincance Team is considered, it is making their life much easier by providing the real time stats on budgeting with desired output. The processing time is also pretty less saving time and adding to the productivity of the firm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Martus?

Martus is a Marketplace Vendors that integrates directly with Intacct. With Martus, we eliminated the need to budget in Excel again! This tool uses the same Dimension structure as Intacct. Departmental staff complete their budget worksheets on the web. Once the budget is approved, with a single click, the budget is approved and posted to SageIntacct. Martus is fairly easy to Navigate. It has a simple interface, and has a pictoral representation of analytical data for lay leaders to understand easily. The budget process can be completed with the need to use Excel. Martus conducts real-time sync with Sage Intacct Accounting software. The user can get direct access to financial transactions coded within Intacct without logging into the accounting tool. What do you dislike about Martus?

The user interface does not have some simple functionality like headers are not available with the freeze view, it is not easy to add an account line to worksheets, auto save is not an option. The budget sheets do not have a calculator feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Martus:

Martus Tools is a great tool to consider. The tool is simple enough for a non-accountant to navigate through, budget in and run reports. The direct integration with Sage Intacct helps see real-time data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Martus solving and how is that benefiting you?

We no longer budget in excel and saved over 100 hours of work. There has been significant reduction in clerical errors. Users have direct visibility into the financial transactions without the need to run separate reports out of the accounting tool.

Cannot freeze view, cannot edit an account on the line item, have to frequently save when making changes, does not auto save. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
