I am evaluating the Cloud based MDM. I do like the features. The ability to wipe remotely and do remote control is great. The ability to manage multiple OS and mobile types is another plus. The web interface is good and the connection with Azure is a plus. Overall it is a good tool thus far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used Maas360, SOTI, Knox Manage, and now ManageEngine. ManageEngine is by far the best one I have used for ease of use, support, and cost. I didn't like the kiosk feature, so I voiced my concern and suggestions. They are actually going to implement my request and have even seen a demo of what it will look like when released soon. The product offers granular controls for device securing and configuring your endpoints to maximize end-user productivity while making it easy for admins. With all of the features, there is a little bit of a learning curve, but it is well worth it to get the most out of your implementation. Also, the support team is second to none! There are only a few features that I would like to see added to the product, and I know that the team is already addressing one of them: 1) please allow for wildcards in "web content filter," 2) please allow for granular application permission management for default applications, 3) please add the "Screen Time" (iOS) report for devices. I have been using the Cloud version of Desktop central, and i must say that it gives a lot of capability as an Admin to manage Windows, Macs and Linux devices. The tool has the ability to get an administrator an insight into patching, automation, inventory and Software deployment. I am finding these features quite useful as being a remote workforce it helps get our inventory ironed out, apply MDM security policies to all devices. The report manangement section also gives a lot of in depth reports that can be utilized to understand more about the IT Landscape. I am very happy with the ease of enrollment (joining the devices to the MDM) for out-of-the-box configurations and even recovery of some of the previously locked devices.
The flexibility of profile use enables me to group users and devices in a quick and efficient manner.
Device tracking, Wi-Fi push configuration and other features are all added bonuses which I am still exploring.
I particularly like the Kiosk mode which enables me to easily shape the user’s experience for a specific group of clients.
