ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus Pros and Cons

ManageEngine MDM Plus is a great software which enables technicians to manage their mobile devices centrally. It's available both on-prem and cloud. When it's installed on on-prem, still we can enable communication securely via Secure Gateway (which is landed on DMZ network) . This product also enables technicians to make remote connections on the mobile devices. It has many configuration templates called "Profiles" which enables technicians to strict their abilities and isolate company data with personal one. This will ensure security and privacy for both sides. With Geo-Location tracking, we can understand the location of mobile devices in real time which I found it's very crucial. And finally, we can install applications (in-house or not) and distribute contents to mobile devices, so when users need some data we can share it with them. I like this product but when it comes to automatic actions in Geo-Location abilities, it needs development. For now,it has security related features in Geo-Fencing abilities but it should be improved. Other than that, I found no major inabilities in the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The sync problem I had that I could not get resolved. I had to manually sync my devices from apple business manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fully functional, after trying for a period of time, the hardware can be well controlled, and the software still needs further testing. At present, it can basically meet the demand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a SaaS version, I hope to have the DLP module as soon as possible, but I haven't experienced it yet. I hope it can be launched as soon as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was very easy to set up and implement ME MDM as I was able to perform this on my own. ME is easy to use and works across all platforms. Our prior MDM was Samsung locked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I did run into a small issue with enrolling devices but customer support was very quick to respond and help me solve my trouble! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Easy to deploy ,espicially clould model .

2. Upto 25devices managing is free and enrollment made it so easy. i can create user instently and invite them using portal. the user will just clikc on the link along with OTP will get enrolled and then ME MDM tool will installed by default .

3. Through ME MDM tool we can remotely access and chat with end user device. But still end user has to accept the connection.

1.APN Certificate is must to communicate with apple devices.

2.Slow when we try to communicate (query or push or remove) the iOS devices then android . this is probebly due to APN

Honestly, based on my experience with similar software, ManagaEngine Mobile Manager has far exceeded my expectations, its ease of use and speed of implementation left me amazed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
