It has been almost 4 years now that we are using mailgun. The best thing is that after setting it up, we didn't have to do anything else.
It just works and in the rare chance of a problem, the mailgun support team is very quick with a solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it is quite hard to pinpoint the exact problem with a suppressed email. We need to find out whether we caused it or a spam filter accidentally blacklisted us. However I would like to note that the support team is really good at handling such issues and helping us through the procedure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The speed. It's unparallelled. We had been using a gmail backed solution previously that would spend so long trying to send it would time out. These days with mailgun backing us, I'm not only confident in the speed of the solution but the platform itself will attempt to re-send our correspondence without prompting so I can be assured everything I want to send will arrive. Whilst there is very little to dislike with the product, the associated dashboard has some unfavourable quirks; if you operate on multiple domains (as I do for a development and LIVE environment) it will often re-assign which subdomain you're viewing as you move across the menus, meaning when you arrive at your intended page you may be observing the wrong data even if you had selected the correct subdomain. It's the ideal service to complement shared hosting plans where you may be issued dodgy IP addresses and need something more robust and secure to send your transactional emails out with, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only negative experience I've had with Mailgun is when using the API to send to multiple recipients at one go. The instructions weren't sufficient clear to me and I ended up sending one email with all my recipients' email address in the To field instead of one email to each recipient. Had to do some damage control after the complaints started coming in. Now that I've figured it out, it's working well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MG has great ability in email delivery. It’s also really reliable as I have not heard my website users complaining about not receiving emails. The sort of new intuitive design makes me like MG even more! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to complain really (which is why I’m still with MG until today). I was just hoping that we have a mobile app (or even just a responsive design enough to fit reports/graphs in mobile browsers). In short, maybe MG can improve its current web design into a more mobile friendly state. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that sending e-mails using mailgun through their API and tracking email (open rate & click rates) has been made seamless and easy. The email analytics and reports are quite good and very much helpful as they enable us to learn how people are interacting with our emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailgun is free and simple, yet secure and easy to setup. As well as this they have an excellent support team who are not only knowledgeable but also friendly and very quick at answering questions well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing to dislike about Mailgun and it's difficult to think of anything to fault it on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was able to get a mail server up and running relatively quickly. And I can track what is going on with the messages I'm sending to a few hundred users every week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't say that I dislike anything. Mailgun does what I need it to, and does so with no drama. It's like the power - it always works and it's always on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailgun is really an coolest tool for sending the emails at work in bulk. It also has an email to verify the email address of any user which very much helps in verifying that the user is a real person. Also attaching the attachments to the email is a very easy task. Actually I've started using Mailgun one month ago and still I have not completely utilized this tool. I have not found any cons yet but if I found any, I will update my review for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simple API, typical featureset.for services in this field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
48 hour ticketing unless you pay $350 a month. An IP I was sharing got onto the SpamCop list (not because of my sending) and I was unable to get mailgun to take action on this for more than 24 hours, even after upgrading to the $79 a month plan. Apparently you need to pay $350 a month for even chat support. That is $15 a month at sendgrid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
