I use Mailgun for all our automated reports, welcome invites to users, and even password reset emails. What I like most about Mailgun is its simplicity. Their deliverability is incredible, especially when compared to our other more marketing-based email system. The initial setup was very easy and it's built for easy development. Mailgun handles all of these emails for us, so we don't have to manually manage them. Not much. I'm being nitpicky here, but when you're on a large monitor, and you want to add filters to your logs that you're looking through, because the filters show on the far right, it's just a little weird to me. Setting up tracking can be a bit complex depending on how you manage your SSL certificate and if it allows multi-level subdomains. It’s extremely unprofessional for a company to shut down an account permanently without explanation or even a chance to resolve the issue. I relied on this service for my business, and this action caused a huge loss.
