What I like best about Mailgun is their quick response time when I have a query, which isn't often but when I do they respond timeously. They are patient when you have to ask a question more than once and they go out of their way to make sure that once you leave, the problem is solved. I work in the service industry and I know good service when I have it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I still have to find what I dislike about mailgun as up to now after many years of being with them - there is nothing that I dislike. Even though I haven't used another company to compare, there has never been a reason for me to look at another company because I am happy with this one so - NO there is nothing that I dislike. Is very simple application with a very very simple api which allow me to do a lot of things. Other big thing is you handle the bounces and complains, love it !
If my solution is deployed in aws i always use AWS SES because it integrates and is cheaper, allows like 70.000 mails, and has a nice bounces and complains report which send me every day.
The api is very simple, i use it in node and python and never have problems with it. Sometimes i send html or attached files and works perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
there is nothing which dislike about mailgun
Would be nice if you sent a report about the bounces and complains in order to be able to manage that problematic users
Would be nice if you create a npm module, the npm module is not yours and would be more trustable if the module belongs to the mailgun team.

The ease of implementing the API to send customised emails in our customised in-the-cloud application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That all the functionality we are using at the scale we are presently at comes free from Mailgun. It doesn't seem fair that we get this fantastic product for free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For a long time, we sought a transactional email service that we could incorporate into our telemedicine software and our mailing compliance software. Once we found Mailgun, we knew we had chosen the right partner. Not only do we use it in our software, but we also use Mailgun with our client web sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really don't have any negative thing to say about Mailgun. We have worked with their platform for over five years and haven't had any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The two thing I like most about Mailgun are that it is reliable and developer friendly. We very rarely have problems sending due to outages on Mailgun's end, and the few times that we have, they were resolved within minutes. Their developer friendly APIs make it easy to integrate into our system. And their webhooks are top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there's nothing that I dislike about the product. It's really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Free tier. Easy setup. Mailing lists made easy. Regular release of new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI was bad earlier but even that was also improved recently. Nothing more than this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Mailgun was so easy to integrate with our existing infrastructure. They support an API to send emails through but we use it mainly as a SMTP relay. Just took three or so line in the Postfix configuration to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not much to say here. I would suggest that their logging/reports interface could be a bit more useful. Like being able to see reports on open rate, being able to group emails together, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it easy to integrate with other systems and really easy to install Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not all the logs are clear and most of the time it's not easy to find where the problem is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Free options for small/startup businesses with reasonable prices for larger companies/projects. Mailing lists included.
WordPress integration is quite simple with the Mailgun plugin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Extended log access is only available in more expensive plans. The management portal takes a bit to get used to, but far from unusable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mailgun is a great way to deliver transactional emails. I used it with both the API and the SMTP configuration, and I was very satisfied.
The free account allows you to send many emails in the monthly time frame. If you limit the limit, you will have to pay the extra part. Prices are still accessible.
I had the opportunity to test the support through tickets and all the time they answered me quickly enough, solving the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, every now and then happens that the mail with which it is sent, goes to block because of some other user who has made spam. However, the technical support, after opening ticket, quickly solve the problem, moving on another IP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
